   The Californian sushi bowl seems to have been made by someone who has never seen a sushi / poke bowl before, unfortunately, and wasn’t great nor good value at all. I paid £13.50 for some slices of smoked salmon, a lot of picked veg, heaps of fry salad leaves, and a tablespoon of rice. It wasn’t very filling not particularly enjoyable, sadly. They offer a very broad menu that it’s hard to work out what type of cuisine they offer or what their speciality even is. Salad aside, the staff were very friendly and welcoming.

   As a family we absolutely love Banyan. Completely because of their attentive service and the staffs warm attitudes. My little boys favourite food is nuggets and chips which lets be honest you can get from anywhere as it’s a kids menu staple but he will always pick Banyan (Ilkley) because the staff always make his day. They recently sent him a birthday card for his birthday signed by the staff and he’s over the moon about it. Thanks guys!

   I visited on Saturday lunch time with a friend. I had a light lunch of chicken samosas which were really tasty and delicious. Our waitress (Gwendoline I think) was very friendly and helpful, she was an absolute delight. Shame we live far away because this is a lovely place that we would use often.

   Busy place, service can be slow, and might have to wait for a while for food, and can be tad noisy. Otherwise, generous portions, food's ok, sweet potato fries tad burnt. Friendly staff.

   A pleasant atmosphere and fabulous customer service from Eva. I wanted to try the new espresso as a latte, when Eva found out that they only had soya milk available she was very apologetic and even offered me a full fefund. I tried it anyway and I'm recommending this blend because it tasted as it was advertised. I'm giving 4 stars to Banyan and 5 stars for Eva.

   Not a fan of ordering at the bar, as when something is off the menu, you have to go back to the table and then start again. Also, my main meal came 5 minutes before the other two meals. However, the meals were amazing as was my sister's cocktail. Would definitely go again.

   Our waitress Ellie was brilliant. Recommended things to us on the menu and really friendly. The food was nice and the drinks were some of the best cocktails I have had. The only reason for the 4 starts and not 5 is no reflection Ellie at all, the menu has a wide variety of choice but 3 items we had wanted (2 on the small plates) and one of the desserts was not available. Great place though and will definitely be back. One of the best banyan I have been to.

   We enjoyed lunch at Banyan earlier this week. The food was excellent and has a healthy eating theme - except the puddings! We found the service good and managed get in and out in just over an hour. I think we will return soon.
