    Absolutely atrocious. Chris blacks long gone and it's mostly foreign solicitors with very little training or even understanding of English legal tradition. Had a criminal matter that saw me get a CRO that Mander Cruckshank's (who I highly recommend) dug me out of later. I was accused of stalking and every defense I put up my own solicitor from black and co. attacked, he actually seemed fed up that I was contesting it even going as far as to say he "wanted to get home". Mander solved the matter at a later date by providing proof she was in contact with me the entire time and was lying. Laziness and incompetence by this firm, don't put your future in their hands.

    Avoid this company I’ve used them since i was 15 year of age, the last twice I’ve used black & co I’ve not been satisfied, but today really did top it. Was remanded all weekend, called from police station yesterday evening , to be told a solicitor would meet me there , which she did.. told me I was going home the courts wasn’t looking to remand me or sentence me today. , which then my solicitor asked me for £700 to represent me which was totally fine, soon as I was released I was more happy pay the £700 , impossible to provide internet banking from a court cell. Which I was told if I couldn’t pay before the sentencing I wasn’t able To use her. Now after all the years I’ve used black & co, I’ve never ever ever had this. I no a few years ago it got taken over by new people, and since then it has gone down hill massively , Avoid at all costs ! Time to Find another solicitor!! The duty solicitor did say there was never a mention about me being released either and only just managed to get bail until november to be sentenced! Such a shame.

    Highly recommend this solicitors to anyone that may find themselves requiring criminal legal representation. Mr Sarwar did a phenomenal job of containing my anxieties, his knowledge of the legal system was second to none. He really appeared to care about my case and obtaining the best possible outcome for me- which I am pleased to say he achieved. If you are unfortunate enough to find yourself on the wrong side of the law don’t hesitate to contact them, cannot recommend them enough. A huge heartfelt thank you Mr Sarwar. Also, I would like to thank Lauren who kept me updated throughout the process and helped put my mind at ease during our phone calls. Fantastic service!!

    I was represented my Ishtiaq Sarwar and what a great experience from the moment we first spoke till I walked out of court. I had multiple charges and he got most of them dropped by negotiating with the prosecutor. Throughout the whole process he gave me all the advice I needed and spent as much time with me as I needed. It actually felt like there was someone was on my side and fighting my corner. If you find yourself in trouble with the law then I would definitely recommend this firm. They should be called magicians, not solicitors.
