    Once again another trouble free airport run by this perfect taxi company. Kept us informed at all times so that I was not worrying. Puncutal at all times. Absolutely no problem in recommending these brilliant friendly lads.

    I have toiled with the idea of leaving this review. I have a medical disorder and so to avoid distress and anxiety I booked a return taxi from Leicester to London, I spoke to Kilo and advised that I want a clean car free of food or smoke smells. I telephoned again to ensure that he remembered because the notes on the electronic receipt did not specify my request. My personal assistant was present and witnessed the conversation so she reminded me to call and double check. The driver arrived on time with a clean smelling car. I couldn’t be happier. I was on time to see patients in clinic. The return journey - I texted the driver to confirm the pick up time but the driver arrived 25mins late, he said there was traffic (no tracking info) but he had 6+ hours to make sure he turned up on time. He telephoned me to check what time I really wanted to be collected, I don’t know why he needed to do that. I had already told him when he dropped me off and texted to confirm so I don’t know why he would need to call me. Most disappointed the car smelt of a strong food smell. He said he β€œhad to eat” so he went to a kebab shop. He told me he would visit his friend who lives about 25 mins away which was in keeping with the lateness. On our way back, I did not see any unusual traffic. I work in clinics and must avoid strong food smells or any offensive smells, I don’t understand why Tudor the driver couldn’t do the same especially when I specifically requested this. Tudor began to shout saying the he had to eat, what do I expect him to do. I asked him to stop shouting at me and focus on getting me home safely. To help with the smell, Tudor had to open the windows in the cold January weather. I spend my hours in the taxi alternating between the cold and smelly car which defeated the entire purpose of ordering a taxi and paying the premium for an stress-free journey. I returned home and immediately vomited on my drive and I have been unable to eat properly for 3 days now. On the night of the journey, I telephoned Kilo to ask why this happened. I was greeted with a nonchalant response, he said he will speak with the driver and get back to me. I have not received a call. It seems that the review ratings they have received is not a reflection on the service they offer. Although no notes were left on the booking (evidenced on the electronic receipt) the driver confirmed that he knew my request but cared more about eating the lunch he desired than his client’s request. This is poor customer service because I would expect a call back to apologise or remedy this situation in some way because this is a journey that i have to make on a regular basis and intended to use this taxi company’s services. Very disappointed. I wonder what story they will come back with as I have noticed that they respond to all their negative reviews with a counter argument. For a company who is overly reliant on their reviews, I would read in between the lines before booking. They only accept cash, so make sure you have that ready otherwise it will be a stop at the cash point which may be an issue if things interrupting your journey can cause anxiety.

    Nice helpful book keeper. Driver was friendly and chatty who was prompt and on time. Alerted you by message that your driver is on his way. I liked how the messages informed you of what car model, colour & reg to expect and reconfirming the price of your journey. The little thank you at the end is a nice touch too. Very friendly and professional service.

    We have used this company twice in the last few weeks, one from home and one to return from Leicester. On both occasions the booking was confirmed by text, with the price. Both taxis were on time, provided a good smooth ride with clean cars and pleasant drivers.

    Given the good reviews we booked for a journey to East Midlands Airport and return. I gave the details of our return both over the telephone and in writing to the driver who took us to hand in to the o,ffice. The outward journey was great. The driver came a few minutes early at 04.45 and was extremely pleasant and friendly. Great, we thought, we've found a reliable taxi service. On our return, however, a total disappointment. We had a call to see if we had landed and I assumed the driver was parked up nearby. I told him to give us 15 minutes as there was a queue to go through passport control and to pick up our luggage. When we were through I phoned, expecting to wait a few minutes for the taxi to arrive. We waited over half an hour and I made three phone calls before he arrived. We were about to find alternative transport when he came. It was bitterly cold in the wind and we were absolutely frozen. Needless to say, we weren't happy. He made some feeble excuse that he had to go to Loughborough to get his tyres checked. I don't believe he left Leicester until we had landed. Just as we left the airport he had a call from someone called Ross in Enderby, presumably wondering where his taxi was. Our driver said he'd be there in 10 minutes.Given that it takes at least 25 minutes from EMA to our house and then 15 to Enderby, I guess Ross was pretty fed up too. If it hadn't been for the good driver going, I wouldn't even have given 2 stars. I certainly cannot recommend them and will not use them again.

    I booked Go Cabs to take me to East Midlands Airport 10 days ago. They were very prompt for a 2 30 am call and took care of my luggage and walking stroller. The driver was extremely helpful and courteous. Today he picked me up for the return journey on time and loaded the car he carried it up to my door. I would thoroughly recommend GO TAXI for reliability kindness and efficiency. day
