   Please AVOID choosing this law firm. They are extremely rude and unprofessional, and I genuinely doubt whether they even have any properly qualified solicitors who understand UK law. They never provide timely responses. When you politely call to ask whether they have received your email or if they could kindly reply, their rude receptionist simply tells you she will “pass on the message” , but don’t believe her, because you still won’t hear back from them. And when you call again next day to ask why there has still been no reply, the same receptionist continues to stall. Yet the moment you finally say, “Don’t bother replying anymore,” their unbelievably unprofessional manager immediately sends you an email criticising you. Truly ridiculous, they ignore genuine professional matters, but respond instantly when it’s to blame the client. What a laughably incompetent and absurd organisation. If you are looking for a real law firm, avoid this place.

   I've used Standley and Co. 3 times now and each time they have been nothing short of brilliant. I've been lucky enough to have Sarah Coldicott look after me each time and she is as professional and efficient as she is a joy to liaise with. I felt completely at ease at all times and nothing was ever too much for Sarah or Standley and Co. as a whole. I was kept in the loop with all progress at all times, forms were sent to me swiftly and I felt reassured the whole time that everything was in the best possible hands. It's rare to find somewhere that matches effectiveness with friendliness of staff, but somehow, they've managed it. I'd definitely recommend them and I would definitely use them myself again in the future.
