Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff. Would very much recommend the food and drinks, very tasty and nicely presented - reasonably priced as well.
Beat brunch I've ever had. Service was amazing too. You have to stop by, spoilt for choice with the menu. 10/10!
Fabulous eatery with a wide and varied menu which includes something for everyone! From the chilli beef starter (delicious) to the banofee pancake dessert (yum yum) everything not only looked great it was a real pleasure to the tastebuds. Main course was a chicken tandoori burger with a couple of really nice onion bhajis and all in all it was a very pleasurable 90 minute visit. A fresh napkin with every course (amazing how many establishments don't do this simple thing) and all served by the lovely Grace, a real asset if the manager is reading this (or maybe she is the boss?) Will definitely return to sample the rather exciting breakfast menu (french toast) and I would wholeheartedly recommend this place!! Ian
It was a lovely place, nice staff and a nice atmosphere. The food was ok, it was cooked and well presented. The website menu's detail a Sunday dinner, and any northerner knows the importance of a Sunday dinner. We were both looking forward to this... when we asked about this, we were told they no longer do Sunday dinner, so please do update your website as I would have gone somewhere else for a Sunday dinner. Nonetheless it was a nice experience, and I would recommend it, just take no notice of the online menu.
Second visit and booked again for lunch. What a lovely welcoming atmosphere on arrival. Food is superb, it’s really lovely to eventually find somewhere local that is both welcoming and has lovely homemade food. Coffee is divine! Please don’t change what your doing
Booked a table for 11am for breakfast. Little did we know we’d still be there at 4pm. The breakfast was delicious The best breakfast I’ve had in a very long time accompanied by a perfect pint (or 2) The atmosphere was that good we decided to stay for a few more drinks and ended up having lunch which was also delicious. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. A good 5 hours spent eating good food, drinking decent beer and generally enjoying the day. Would definitely recommend Even our fussy 4 year old loved it. Great asset to the village

If you are looking for a very warm welcome, fabulous food & lovely atmosphere, then look no further. We had heard good things about 117 bistro bar so decided to give it a try and we were not disappointed, highly recommend 5 stars. The service is excellent and the food is fantastic. Looking forward to going again soon.
Called in for lunch with my friend whilst enjoying the lovely shops in Barrowford. The service was exceptional, so friendly and welcoming and the food is absolutely delicious. I can highly recommend the festive menu it's divine. Will definitely be calling in again. What a wonderful place. X
