Their insurance Auto renews, avoid, I took out a years cover and one year later they tried to auto renew. Extremely underhand way of doing business. Good job I saw their renewal Email in time

Not impressed. They would not allow any amendment to the policy as I bought through Moneysupermarket. What possible difference does that make. Would have to cancel, loosing 40% then take a new policy at an inflated rate just because our original policy allowed a 31 day holiday and we wanted 34 days cover.

Tried to sing up online it was difficult to do so I ended up going with another firm.Pathetic sign up service.

Used the claims number on the policy document. Spoke to a member of staff from Axa (the Underwriters) - very helpful. Claim decision still outstanding but the process was well handled.

Awkward claims procedure. Their links to start the claims process didn't even work - had to waste time chasing up others. And now stuck waiting an age for any progress with the claim. Slightly more expensive companies (some only by a few pounds) have always been a better option than this. Don't use them.

Travel insurance was far cheaper than most other companies for over 75's with pre_existing conditions (blood pressure,type2 diabetes etc.) but of course, we must trust that they give the promised service should it be required.

Somehow they are the top recommendation on MoneySavingExpert. Not sure how they managed this because their service is awful. Before going away I needed something clarified in the policy, they said this would be easy, but instead of sending a document as requested by the embassy for the visa application, they sent a casual email, 4 days later. Takes an age to get through to them, and unhelpful when you do finally connect. Poor service.
