Great team of people, very understanding of people in hardship and do everything in their power to help people in real dire straits, like myself. I was in serious debt, and they helped me to navigate the best solution, which was bankruptcy, and they paid the fee for the proceedings. I am so grateful for Andrews (the gray-haired fella that people who have been using their services for a time and not been bothered to know his name,see below) help, and the team, ive only used the food bank three times but, never felt judged or embarrassed. They are volunteers mostly, and im so happy they are there for me and people like me. As there are those that exploit these services and write bad reviews about them and the irony is i was there when the reviewer below me came in, after hearing the volunteers saying they were upset i said "how dare you, youre biting the hand that feeds you, totally shameless" so she was told to politely leave and rightly so, and i got a box of chocolates for speaking out. I spoke out as i believe in treating people how you want to be treated, so for her to write a one star review, and then come in, is truly unbelievable. Believe me, they are all great and Andrew (rudely described as the gray haired fella as in not remembering his name) and go beyond to help you as best they can within their means and certainly don't deserve to be insulted by anyone,especially someone whose used their services for a long time. Shame on you.

no star for the team my partner at the time was really struggling we then set up and she became out of work we asked for help from them at the time we only had £800 pound a month that was my esa and uc money total we asked for help they took our details and nothing from them we managed to get our selfs fairly straight and just about paying all the bill whilst getting help from you guys . focus4hope who are brillant whilst Andrew since November did nothing not even a letter telling us what is going and my parter constant trying to get there help then start of july andrew took our income which yet again has changed and said we dont need help when we do . we appreciate we dont need as much help as some others but it would be professional to send out a courtesy letter or email explaining what was going on and why we did not get any help from your team pip money for me is about mobility not to pay a mortgage i find his attitude very unprofessional and rude

Great, friendly staff, who offer a range of courses to help to stay you out of debt after they've helped you get out of debt. Also, a food bank and help getting grants for things like washing machines and cooking appliances. And carpets for low income families.
