Brought my dog in for a health check, vaccines, and nail clipping. The vet was very informative, gentle, and kind. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my dog was comfortable throughout the visit. Great experience overall — highly recommend!
Really do make you feel comforted with expertise and swift advice. My mini Dachshund hurt his leg and they understood my concerns and saw to him as quickly as possible. They gave advice without making me overly worry. Very reassuring to have them as my vet.
Medivet Sidcup is fantastic. The team are super kind and welcoming. Our dog is excited about her visits and literally skips in tail wagging. The practice really care about the animals and always explain treatment well. We have used the practice for 7 years and will continue to do so. I highly recommend James and his wonderful team.

This is a practice to visit with every confidence, especially helpful if you have stroppy pets. James is specialist for eyes and has been extremely good with my cat and dog, performing specialised eye surgery on my cat very successfully. Very friendly staff, very welcoming
I wish I had used them from the very start! I sadly had to say goodbye to my amazing best friend of 12 years last week. For the whole of his life I used Oval vets in Eltham and they were ok as I never really needed them for anything besides the usually worming and flea treatment but as he got older and started to get sick with seizures, I noticed how not so great they were. I never noticed how expensive they were compared to others and I feel like I didn’t get the care and support I needed. I then had to take my Doggy to out of hours emergency, they wanted to charge me so so much I couldn’t afford it. I googled and found Medivet (dartford 24hr) and wow they were so kind and caring and offered all the support we needed plus were a lot more affordable. Sadly, the seizures had caused too much damage and probably pain and we had to say goodbye. Medivet at Halfway st have been so supportive and compassionate during this difficult time, I just wanted to say a big massive thank you for making this a little easier. Also thank you for the beautiful condolences card, poem and forget me nots. I can safely say if I ever decide to find another companion, I will be using them from the start.
Excellent practice friendly reception and vets are lovely. All the staff are kind and compassionate treating your pets as the family members they are. Have used this practice for 20 years now under varying vets and never had a bad experience!
Best vet I've taken my little cat to. Certainly saved her life with technical skills and experience when she's been very poorly and a lot of good common sense in her ongoing care at home. Staff are very caring and prices are reasonable.
