Anyway checked go compare website to compare new car insurance quote they had deals reduced to almost half..

First year of insurance was great. Someone came and installed the box. Box worked fine, any correspondence or paper work with the company was done quickly and swiftly. Then comes the renewal which I signed up for (worst decision of my life). The box has to be taken out of the old car and put into the new one. Sure, fine. At a cost of around 100gbp if I remember correctly (what?). Anyway, the company they hire for this labour is extremely busy and on a scale of two weeks only two hours suit them on a Friday at 12pm-2pm. What is this nonsense? I don't even get a choice and need to drop out of important stuff to make this happen otherwise I'm threatened with policy cancellations.
What I do is I try to arrange an alternative and talk to the third party company about taking the box out myself. They say fine, if I need help I can call them and then we can arrange a date to get it installed. I uninstall the box, leave the cabling in (at the price of 100gbp, I'm sure this should not be an issue).
I contact Policywise and inform them about this. The lady over the phone, Joe, shouts at me as to who told me I'm allowed to do that. When I said I clearly don't know, I just answer phone calls, she still asks for the name and rudely blames me for all of this happening.
She calls them, confirms this, calls me back that this should not happen and sets blame on me if the box is damaged.
I then call the box fitting company and they have a problem with me all of the sudden.
Amateur behaviour. I do not recommend.
