This wonderful team saved our precious dog’s life last week. The facility itself is state of the art and we experienced such kindness, professionalism, care and outstanding communication from this skilled team particularly Mathis and Anna who operated on Bailey. Mathis looked after us amazingly from the moment we arrived until we could take Bailey home. We were so blown away by our experience at Aura at such a traumatic time. My words don’t do it justice. Thank you.

We travelled from North Wales to Aura when our beautiful cat was diagnosed with carcinoma. The care she received was superb. All the staff are friendly and empathetic. The specialist took the time to explain everything to us and give us all the options. Thank you to everyone at Aura x

I brought my beloved cat to this clinic during the final stages of her illness, and while some of the staff—particularly the front desk—were kind and compassionate, my overall experience was marked by deep disappointment and grief. On the last day of her life, my request to have 5 more minutes with her was coldly denied. I clarified she was scheduled to be euthanize the next day. She passed away before I could see her again, and I will carry the pain of that abrupt ending with me. I don’t think I can ever forget—or forgive—that moment. The oncologist I interacted with also came across as detached, which only added to the sense that compassion was missing when it was needed most. This clinic is, for many of us, the last stop in our pet’s life. What is routine for staff is often the most devastating moment in an ours. I urge the leadership to retrain and reinforce this perspective daily. The knowledge and the expertise of this clinic I do not question. They did everything they could for her. But similar to other vets, they tried to restrict visits on the last week of her life. That said, I want to acknowledge the front desk team, whose warmth, empathy and professionalism helped me through some of the hardest days. I’m grateful to them for that.

We honestly can’t thank the team at Aurua enough for everything they did for our dog, Leo. From the very first consultation to the all-clear after his surgery, their care, communication, and kindness were faultless. Leo’s Journey: Leo is our 4-year-old Chug, and earlier this year, we discovered a lump on his prepuce. It turned out to be a cutaneous mast cell tumour. Understandably, we were worried, but once we were referred to Aurua, we felt confident we were in the right hands. Surgery & Timeline: The whole process moved quickly and smoothly. We had an oncology consultation on 12th March, and Leo had surgery to remove the tumour on 21st March. Everything went well, and he came home the same day. We went back for a follow-up and stitch removal on 11th April, and the recovery since has been brilliant no sign of the tumour returning, and Leo is totally back to himself. • 1st Feb: Initial diagnosis • 26th Feb: Fine Needle Aspiration • 12th March: Oncology consultation • 21st March: Surgery • 11th April: Follow-up & stitch removal • Now: Full recovery and no further issues Communication & Care: Every single person we dealt with at Aurua was lovely kind to Leo, and kind to us. He gets a bit nervous in clinical settings, but they were gentle, calm, and reassuring the whole way through. They kept us updated at every stage and always explained things clearly, without being overly clinical. We felt genuinely cared for. Cost & Insurance: We were quoted £5,000 to £6,000. The total bill for Leo’s treatment was £5,985.21. Our insurance (Animal Friends) covered £2,000 of that for the tumour, with a £99 excess. Aurua were brilliant in helping us handle the claims process, it was all clearly explained, and there were no surprises. Outcome:We’re so relieved to say that Leo is now cancer-free. He’s back to bouncing around the house and being his cheeky self. We couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a vet who’ll treat your pet like their own, keep you informed, and go the extra mile, Aurua is absolutely the place. They were amazing with Leo, and we’ll always be grateful for the care they gave him — and us.

I wish I never had to write this review… But I’m so grateful for the excellent care they’ve given my dog during his battle with lymphoma. It’s been almost seven months of treatment so far, with two more to go. Throughout it all, they’ve been compassionate, professional, and truly dedicated. I couldn’t have asked for better support during such a difficult time.

The team at Aura are brilliant. They operated on my dog Ellie after a CT scan. The communication between myself and the vet was excellent which gave me the confidence to agree to the procedure. Throughout they contacted me with updates and even helped with my insurance claim.

Amazing vet, sadly it wasn't meant to be for my dog magic. But aura made me and him very comfortable and gave me a private room until I was ready and for that I thank you. This vet showed me a huge level of respect and dignity and I wouldn't go anywhere else with my pets now.

What a fantastic place and a totally different level compared to other vets! Our 3yr old rescue dog from Portugal Betty was referred to Aura after being diagnosed with a grade 2 soft tissue sarcoma. During our consultation Jonathan Bray informed us she would need a wide excision to remove the tumour along with reconstructive surgery of the area using a skin flap. We were of course very worried as this was major surgery and sounded daunting for such a small dog, but Dr Bray was extremely knowledgeable and reassuring and filled us with great confidence that she was in the best hands. They kept us well informed on the day of surgery and we got regular updates twice daily during the five days she was in hospital. Betty is now three weeks post surgery, stitches have been removed and she is recovering really well. She should make a full recovery and we hope will have no more problems for the rest of her life. We cannot thank Jon and his team enough for everything they have done. She has received such amazing care and so much love from all involved - everyone from the nursing team through to the receptionists and admin staff have been amazing! And just a word on costs as we’ve read several negative comments here - the cost of our treatment ended up coming in at around £1000 less than the original estimate, which was not only a pleasant surprise but also seemed good value considering what she had done and how long she was in for. Reviews that talk about additional costs racking up or being squeezed on itemised billing are completely unfounded in our experience and are perhaps a legacy of previous ownership/management. We cannot recommend Aura highly enough if your pet is unfortunate enough to be diagnosed with cancer, you can rest assured they will be receiving the best possible treatment and you are giving them the best chance. We are so grateful to you for giving Betty her life back.

Wow I don’t know where to start! This journey has been a huge emotional rollercoaster for all of us! Long story short; Magda and her team saved our 5 month old Bullmastiff puppy’s life. Prince is so special to us all, and you did everything you could and more to save him. Everyone that works at aura is so lovely and kind and professional, they provided round the clock intensive care for our boy, and carried out major surgery and because of that he is still with us now. Magda, we want to thank you personally for everything you’ve done for us. You are so kind, and you’ve cared for our prince in ways we never thought anyone could. We really can’t recommend aura veterinary enough, thank you again so so much, prince & family xxx

These people are just amazing! From the minute I walked through the door I was greeted warmly, politely and helpfully by everyone from medical practitioners to admin staff. They hospital building is clean and light and welcoming. Everything was explained to me clearly and with patience and I was given time to ask any questions or raise any concerns. My little Pug, Eric, has had a number of procedures to remove a mast cell tumour. I have now been advised that following surgery there is no evidence of mast cell tumour and no further treatment is required. Eric is my heart. He is only 7 years old and it makes me the happiest I can be to know we can make more memories together. Thank you to you all, and especially Jonathan Bray, Senior Consultant Surgeon and Maria, Eric's nurse.
