I brought my cat Jethro in for his annual jabs. I was called in quickly to see the vet. Both Jethro and I were treated with kindness and courtesy.
Very caring service for all my pets (2 dogs and a cat) - Star (my Italian Greyhound) wags her tail and greets the vets, they are so good with her. I can wholeheartedly recommend
Harry has been with Ashland’s for most of his 14 years of life. He loves all the reception ladies and knows where they keep the snacks. All the vets are very understanding of his ‘quirky ways’ and I feel really listened to when it comes to how to handle him for examinations/injections etc(he hates the table and simple things like kneeling on the floor with him have really helped- although he will ALWAYS hate blood tests). The veterinary nurses have always been great, gentle and reassuring to Harry for his monthly injections (the treats afterwards help). yesterday, Lizzie was extremely thorough and helped to find a solution for Harry’s ageing joints. Ana and Ellie have been his main vets for the past few years and the continuity in care is fantastic.
Been a customer for many years and would not go anywhere else. I trust this practice with my animals which is what anyone needs with their pets. Always give sound advice and don’t try to oversell products. The staff are extremely friendly both with owners and pets, altogether a first class service and cannot recommend highly enough. We drive around 20 miles to attend and will continue to do so. Far superior to our local surgeries!
Our first visit to this Vets last night. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful and the Vet we saw was both professional and kind. I would be happy to recommend them based on our experience.

Superb vets! I have been going to Ashlands vets for almost 15yrs now with my 2 cats and the whole time all the staff have been totally dedicated to their roles and have an obvious love towards caring for them. Ellie has been an absolute start from the beginning, with her knowledge, compassion and treatment for Suzy and Samy. Sadly we had to let go of our cats within 5 months of each other due to illness and age which was extremely upsetting. However, the experience was made all that much easier with the support and empathy from all the staff. I would especially like to thank Tina whom has always been cheerful, helpful and supportive. She has has gone above and beyond helping me when I found a stray cat a year or so ago to an injured pheasant and to another stray we have been helping recently. I can't thank all of you enough. You are amazing!! Thank you x
