I’m a regular customer, I’ve been coming here since the past 3/4 years, yesterday I left completely disappointed. The chicken for the ‘steak’ was absolutely tiny literally size of a goujon The pasta was tasteless, the quality of this place has gone massively down. When I mentioned this to the lady, she just laughed it off.
The food was cooked wrong, when asking for a medium steak it came out as rare. As well as this, the waitress who served us when we came in hovered next to us and never said anything until we asked if we could order, they also never came round asking how the food was or if we wanted a drink etc. Whilst trying to get the waitress’ attention, she ignored our efforts to order another round of drinks and continued to chat with the other 4 waitress’, the place could be worked by 1 possibly 2 front of house, so they were all stood around with nothing to do, therefore leading to them talking to each other. Our experience would’ve been a lot better if the food was cooked how we asked, the front of house were willing to commit to their job and if the place didn’t feel so empty. P.S the drinks menu had no alcohol, as well as only offering limited drinks
Unsure why you would offer some of the things on the menu. This place is good for ordering steak, wings, and fries - but god forbid you try to order a burger. The burger meat is processed, it is not the type of meat you expect at a places that specialises in meat. The veg side is from one of those steam packets. The veg on the “plates” was 3 green beans. The garlic bread is lit, the sweet potato fries are lovely, the mash is ok but it’s not buttery. I would have preferred to just not to have the bad stuff as options, instead of wasting money on them when there are decent other options on the menu. 5/10.
4/5 stars! We had a delightful dining experience at Toros Restaurant! We ordered the Chicken Fillet and Garlic Steak, but unfortunately, the garlic sauce didn't quite hit the mark - it needs a bit more flavor and punch. However, the Chicken Caesar Salad was absolutely delicious! The starter platter was also impressive, with a great selection of flavors and textures. Overall, we loved almost everything about our meal at Toros. With a bit of tweaking to their garlic sauce, they'd easily earn a 5-star review from us! Highly recommend for a great dining experience.
Halal steak house. Always went to Toros for steaks but noticed the portion size shrunk and even the steak is very thin. Never had a ribeye so thin before and the cut wasn’t good quality so had few nerves. The flavour was good and I ordered medium rare and got exactly that. Prices gone up but standards dropped. I hope they go back to their previous standards. Customer service was good. Plenty of seating places. Cant highly recommend but then there are very limited halal steak places in Coventry. If you found this review helpful then a like would be much appreciated.
T bone 100% ,burger 0% , Sirloin 70% I had T bone steak with 7 green beans very poor portion of veggies, meat was delicious. Burger was very dry, and overcook, Sirloin was good however some burn chips came along.
I have been here a number of times, food is always good and decent portions. Last time I went for the Toro's special because almost everyone at the table ordered this and recommended to me , I liked it and can recommend it. Service is decent, can't complain and decent prices. Definitely to be tried. The place itself is not particularly a new build, could do with a little decor
You honestly cant go wrong with this place...top quality food & service every single time!!!! Steaks are seasoned perfectly & arrive sizzling on a bed of crispy veggies & sides of your choice...their dessert brownie sizzler is absolutely divine..best to order the bigger portion...only reservation is that they dont accept card payments which is real pain for people like me who dont carry cash all the time & parking is a nightmare in Coventry city centre but apart from that's it's pretty decent:)) would reccomend keeping some colouring books & crayons to keep the kiddies occupied whilst the adults enjoy their meal! X
By far the best Chocolate Brownie and the best Peri Peri Chips I've ever had. They were absolutely delicious. The Fillet Mignon was nice and juicy and cooked to perfection. Would definitely go there again and recommend to everyone.
