   Booked for 20 people from the Xmas festive menu. Absolutely amazing! It can’t be easy to serve a large group and have all the meals out at the same time but they made it look effortless. The food was delicious and the roast platter for two was particularly impressive. Special shout out to our server, Ava, who was so friendly and helpful. Everybody loved it and so many said they would certainly visit again in the future.

   Been there for a business dinner with colleagues I loved the english food and the fresh beer. The service lady was very helpful to guide through the menu and did her best to bring some language knowledge about english food to the guests ("pudding" :-) ) The atmosphere of the pub is really nice.

   I am giving a 5 star review as I don't think they deserve less. The staff were friendly and the pub was cosey. The food was great, I had the vegan cheesy garlic bread with caramelised onions, it was lovely I would have preferred more cheese. I then had the vegan steak, this tasted great, however, it was not a steak. It was effectively a burger. I think having it on the menu as a steak is misleading, the texture just wasn't there for it to be a steak. It tasted amazing and will make some epic burgers. This steak is homemade and you can tell, if the texture was a more pulled texture as opposed to a minced texture then it would have been perfect. Their homemade peppercorn sauce was great too. For pudding I had the knickerbocker glory, it was nice to have a sundae style pudding. As a vegan that feels like we get the short straw a lot, I did feel very included with this menu, thank you. Definitely worth the visit and would definitely go again.

   We ate here yesterday and were totally blown away by the delicious food. I had confit pork belly which was to die for. The handmade chicken burger was also delicious with a thick piece of juicy chicken. I would highly recommend this place and will deffo be back. The staff were also amazing.

   Went for Mother’s Day and had a nice lunch. Shame the price inflates so much just because of this day, same food different day. Pie was good, pork belly not crispy and a bit of a let down. Desserts were good, chocolate & salted caramel tart was nice. Service was slow, had to ask for drinks and the bill multiple times. Not really an excuse being Mother’s Day, it’s expected to be busy. Would try again though.

   Very nice lunch, comfortable atmosphere and very welcoming and friendly service from the staff…Had the best steak and ale pie! My wife had a delicious stone baked pizza, would recommend for a nice belly warmer!

   Visited in a large work group. We had pre-ordered, which made life much easier. The food was lovely. All served within a reasonable time of each other and nice and hot. I had a beetroot pie with Goat'scheese sauce, which I was rather reticent about on the menu, but it was delicious. Chips and cabbage were also great. Starter, main, dessert, and a pint was £30 which is excellent value. There weren't many staff on but they were quick and very pleasant. I would definitely visit again.

   Went here for my 34th Birthday, and was an absolute pleasure. Waitresses were friendly and attentive, Steak and Ale Pie with Mash was to die for, and prices are overall very reasonable for the quality. I honestly would rate the food here some of the best in the area, and highly recommend it to others.
