Lovely meal from the set menu (circa £18 pp). Bit shocked to be charged an extra £4 for the sirloin steaks in our choice but I suppose that is what small print is about. The waitress was very helpful and attentive. Just wish that people would stop calling customers "Guys" and refrain from saying "Enjoy", obviously this has come from our cousins over the pond. Needs to stop as it is unnecessary and Guys is disrespectful. It would have been nice to have had some Dijon mustard or French mustard, but according to our waitress they can't get it anywhere. Should have asked me as there is plenty in our supermarket. It would be helpful if the prices of the beers were promulgated at the time of ordering.

Stayed in the Premier Inn next door. I had booked a table online for the restaurant but was a little late. They didn’t have my booking apparently and no tables left in the restaurant but I could sit in the bar, which was fine. I walked past lots of empty tables so I didn’t understand that, they were also turning people away. Lady behind the bar was lovely and helpful, the lady that I presumed was the manager was as miserable as hell and rude. The steak was nice, but I think they forgot to put the other half of the chips portion on my plate. It was ‘ok’, but I wouldn’t go back.

Good food (roast lamb dinner on Sunday) very acceptable. Indulgent chocolate brownie mini dessert with a very good flat white. Charming, friendly service from very competent staff. Alone & away from home but made to feel welcome & comfortable. Its good value food with good service - not fancy but not rubbish by a long way. Seemed quiet for a Sunday afternoon but that suited me.

Fabulous pub/restaurant. Lovely atmosphere, food and service. What a gem of a place! They even have proper meals and treats for dogs! Wish we lived closer as I'd go all the time!

Came here for a birthday dinner with my wife. Atmosphere was great. Our waitress Lauren was bubbly and catered to our every need, even had a bit of banter with the wife which was great. Not very often you get servers like that any more. Food was beautiful so thank you to the chefs in the kitchen on the night of our visit. Price was great for the value we got. Will definitely be making this our regular beefeater. Worth the travel. Highly recommended. For management, the only thing I would note is toilets could do with a little TLC, but having worked in the industry, I know that this is always difficulty to manage, so I will still keep my five star review.

We went for breakfast as a group of friends. Everything was the usual quality you'd expect from the premier Inn brand. The venue was nice and clean and the cooked food was out very quickly from the kitchen.. staff were happy to help and accommodating. I didn't take any photos on this occasion but the decor is very pleasant and and it's a comfortable place to eat.

We visited the Barn last night and had a lovely experience thanks to our waitress Billie-Jo. Although the restaurant was busy, she was kind , courteous, polite, engaging and patient with our children, her knowledge and recommendations on the food and drinks was superb and overall made it a pleasurable experience. The meal was great value for money, the food came out on time, and was lovely and hot, desserts were great and the cocktails were spot on. We will be back :-)

Went today for lunch with my partner and daughter. Had the most lovely waitress named Jade (also the manager). She had a wonderful attitude and was really helpful throughout the meal. She was wonderful with my daughter asking her questions (some restaurants just ignore her and ask me everything) and even got a smile off my shy little girl. Food came quickly and was delicious. The calamari and mushroom starters we could of ordered seconds. The loaded chips and hullumi fries were a lovely extra to our burgers. We cleaned the plates. The only bad thing was we couldn't have a pudding because we were too full. We will be returning soon and hope to have jade as our waitress again.

Lovely place and lovely food, would have given it 5 stars if waitresses and bar staff wasnt so miserable. Its as if they didn't want to be there. Update: 2 years later another visit just because they serve mixed grills...again the food was nice, but wasn't as hot as it should have been, tables weren't as clean as they should have been, the staff is what destroys this place again, under staffed and no change in attitude...But probably the worse thing about this experience was chemical tasting Guinness, I don't know if it was the glasses or the lines but it was not good at all....I took it back they gave me another one which was worse...no offer of an alternative drink they just left it, and left a nasty taste in my mouth from the drink and experience...so much difference from our first experience so I give it a 2 star this time and wouldn't recommend or go again.
