Great food and service from a family run place. Easily the best Fish & Chips in Leicester and would highly recommend the spicy potatoes. Will definitely be back!
No brainer !! Ocean Fish Bar is honestly one of my favourite places to eat. Andy, is a top guy - always friendly and welcoming, and you can tell he really cares about the place. It’s a proper family-run business with great vibes and even better food. The fish is always fresh, portions are spot on, and the service is quick and genuine every time. You have to try the spicy potatoes - they’re unreal! Easily one of the best things on the menu along with the mediterranean chicken. Couldn’t recommend this place more - great people, great food, great atmosphere.
WOW, hands down the best chippy in Leicestershire. The variety of food will cover options for all, the mixed meat is the one to get. The owners are so friendly and always welcome you into their shop, a place I will be returning to again thats for sure!
Didn’t really want to leave a review as the owners seem really nice. However Ive just had the worst fish and chips ever. The chips were like frozen chips, completely cremated and greasy! So was the fish If that’s the standard please give someone else the business as they unfortunately don’t deserve it. This was at 5.20 just after they had opened.
Not happy food is great from here but delivery is not I tried to contact about this before posting. Obviously ordered on deliveroo. My curry sauce arrived squashed and looks like it's been crushed and just thrown in the bag and ruined everything else in the bag delivery driver was rude too. Not happy
I must say that i really love these food because it's really tasty and very good standard. Because this is a first time I try it but I really enjoyed it
Lovely fish and chips great value for money. Very friendly member of staff at the counter served me and the other was talking to another customer so obviously got great customer service skills as well as cooking. As for those that waited ages I can only say maybe they were very busy with online orders or maybe they made a mistake with yours and started again. I personally would rather wait 30 minutes for great fish and chips but hey if you don’t want to wait I supposed you could always have uncooked cold fish and chips
