   Amazing fish and chips and one of the best battered sausages I’ve ever had. Start off with the fish, fresh Grimsby fish so soft and tender melts in your mouth with a light thin crispy batter which doesn’t stick to the paper either! Next the chips are probably the best chippy chips I’ve had on a consistent level, they burn my fingers upon first touch and the steam that’s built up inside just makes the chips almost break into mash, lovely and soft every single time! Now the battered sausages, 90% of the time have been wonderfully crisp on the outside and steaming hot on inside, very good quality proper pork chippy sausage. Lastly forgot to mention it’s probably around 20% cheaper then most high street chippies, £2 battered sausages, £5 massive huge enough to feed 7 easy large chips(around 8 scoops) and £7 for the extra large haddock or cod. Forgot to mention the very authentic chippy curry sauce made to absolute perfection 100% of the time!£1.40 for a large! This place is a little gem I’d travel 20+ miles for this everytime it’s bang on! Thanks guys - Nick

   Really nice chips and a very tasty sausage. Very reasonable prices. They have a good range of kebabs and burgers. Fast friendly service by 2 experienced guys and there is plenty of parking, located opposite the coop.

   Brilliant and tasty takeaway food and always served fresh. The staff are very friendly and, although the prices have increased slightly lately (like everywhere else), it is still good value for money. I would recommend this place to anyone. The kebabs especially are worth travelling here for.

   Normally use express grill but never again. My wife as always had cod and chips , when he wrapped the fish and chips up the fish broke but he carried on wrapping. When we unwrapped it to put on the plate at home the smell was horrendous, there's no way he couldn't have known the fish was very off. I Will never use express grill again and nor will any of my family. Putrid fish could of made my wife very sick. Please, please be very careful if you use express grill. Just look at the photos of the fish before you risk using them.

   Second time re-cooked someone's fries sold for me. 35% uneatable rock solid. 45% eatable, but empty and dry overcooked. Other 20% barely on the quality line. Slammed in the tray with cooking oil, still feeling plastic taste sometimes. Poor standards. Some food there is really nice, but sometimes they trying to trick you. Watch out, double check what you get. Stay safe.

   I ordered from here tonight, one of the things I ordered was a 1/4 pounder cheeseburger with no tomato... what turns up was a dry plain thin what I assume was a children’s beef burger... that fell apart once I touched it... I called up and just asked for what I ordered, they took my name address and phone number and told they would send what I had PAID for over... it’s been 7 hours and nothing! Never ordering from here again!

   Nice clean chippy. Kebabs are pretty good. The only negative is that they do that annoying thing of putting the bread underneath the meat instead of putting the meat and salad inside the bread! Chilli sauce here is great and the chips are nice.
