Filthy and disgusting treatment. If you value and love your furry family member do NOT use this vile place. Needs shutting down ASAP!
After countless vet appointments and very expensive medications, I would strongly advise against using this cattery. My experience has been awful and very distressing for both me and my cat. She came back with fleas and ringworm, has lost almost half of her fur, and has completely lost her appetite. She is now skin and bone, and it’s heartbreaking to see her in this condition. No animal should ever be left in such poor conditions. (If we weren’t desperate due to our circumstances we would never have left her there.) We have reported this company to the PDSA and to the RSPCA due to the state of the facilities and the impact it has clearly had on my pet. Please, for the health and wellbeing of your pets, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Unfortunately, the first impression of Solwol Boarding kennels is not very good when you first arrive. The establishment is in need of some TLC, but the kennels area is fine. This is the second time our dog Stan has stayed here. On the walk to the kennels Stan was fine as he was when we picked him up last time. Pauline is very nice and you feel confident leaving your dog(s) here
Needed to house the dog suddenly due to illness. The owner was very accommodating and took the dog even though it was early evening. The dog remained there for 10 days, was quite happy and well looked after. Would use these kennels again.
My dog has been here 3 times for around 5 days each time(abandonment issues). This is a basic kennel set up, but the owners genuinely care for the pets and are always trying to do the best by them.
The place doesnt even worth any stars. Came to collect my cat who seemed like he was only fed weekly every hungry and really weak. This place needs shutting down….
Very nice people who do a great job of looking after my cat. I was nervous at first because we had never left her here before. The owners were very helpful and organised her new temporary home very carefully. She settled in quite quickly and as we left she settled down. Collection was quick and easy. When I went into the area for cats she knew I was there and cried out several times to let me know she was pleased to be coming home. She was very happy and had been looked after very well indeed.
Do not leave your dog here at all!! We have just picked our dog up and he is covered in lumps and marks and dry blood all over him
If you want 1st class care for your cat or dog this is the place for you. Very friendly and caring staff that clearly love animals. Nothing is too much trouble
