Richard has been walking my 3 dogs for a long time now and they absolutely love it when he comes for them. I trust him completely to look after them whilst they’re out and he’s even helped with their recall! Love the WhatsApp pictures of them enjoying their walkies.
I have always used a cattery when taking our annual summer holiday, but due to also having a pet rat, along with our two cats, I looked into other options and came across Happy Days.....I am so glad I found Richard and he was the perfect solution to looking after our pets. Professional, but down to earth and very reasonably priced, this will now be my choice as long as I have pets. All my pets needs were catered for and I felt at ease leaving them in Richards capable hands. Whilst on holiday, he messaged me regularly, keeping me updated on our pets, such a lovely touch. Richard was able to help us out at super short notice during a busy work spell for me and my partner. He was very friendly and it put our minds at ease, and we knew Lenny was going to be looked after. Richard sent pictures and videos of Lenny from their walks showing the different exercises they did - not just chasing a ball! We have now booked Lenny in for weekly group walks, can't wait for more pictures!
Happy Days have been looking after our two cats regularly for almost 2 years now and we can't recommend them highly enough. They are super realiable and very trustworthy. We know our cats are in safe hands and that Richard or Rosie will contact us if there's any problem at all. They also understand the personalities of our two cats and relate to them really well. Our male cat has really taken to Richard, but he has also been great with our female cat who is very nervous and shy. It's great to know that when we go away, we don't have to worry about them because they will be well cared for by Happy Days.
Richard has now been walking my dog for nearing two years. I could not ask for a better dog walker. He is responsible, reliable, and she absolutely adores him. I never give two thoughts to my dog when Richard is in charge and, given that I'm a worrier, that's such a relief. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him and am happy to talk to anyone considering his services. My review from 2017 - I have been very impressed with Richards approach to starting with a new dog (on lead walks until both are confident). My dog is little and can be nervous so Richard has been cautious about taking her out with dogs that can be 'too much' for her; a real peace of mind for me as her confidence is still great! We have used Richard for over a year and we are very happy with him. Ivy (our dog) loves him and he takes her on interesting walks and returns her tired! He has never let us down and has helped us out on numerous occasions when we are late from work or most recently the birth of our daughter. He gives us peace of mind when we are at work. Rosie is my lovely little rescue, she is also very timid of men, so I found Richard, he charmed her very quickly and she absolutely adores him now. I have a very happy dog every Monday when I get home from work because she has a great time with him. I also know she is safe because Richard really cares about the dogs in his charge. I would recommend Happy Days dog walking and home sitting to anyone who has the need for this type of care. Rosie is nodding in agreement.
Our dog Trevor loves walking with Richard, he’s been with him from 13 weeks old and gets so excited to see him. Would recommend always to people in the area!! Richard also looked after our cats when we went on holiday which gave us a great peace of mind as our cats aren’t very sociable but they were able to stay in the comfort of their own home. 10/10 from us!
