   Disgusting pub, serving people alcohol when they have already had too much. this is also illegal and could be fined for it !!!!

   We visit the commercial most days for a cheeky pint after work or on a day off, its become a really nice quiet regular where we can play darts and chill out. The good thing is the food is exceptional and very reasonably priced. Hats off to the chef and the staff at the commercial inn

   Our first experience of dining here ( Sunday lunch) although we have been here to drink and watch the rugby. Our meal was delicious, we couldn't fault it. Beautifully presented and extremely tasty, a cut above most pub Sunday dinners. Infact, best one we've ever had, and we've had a few. The staff were lovely, friendly and full of spark, nothing was too much trouble. We love this place; it's so 'normal' and relaxing and the clientele friendly, chatty and welcoming. We'll be back!!    I really like this pub everything tastes so fresh and local. (This is my 2nd time coming here). This time I had a burger fries and side order of onion rings absolutely beautiful. And for dessert I had the Biscoff Cheese cake the taste buds were alive eating this it was so heavenly I could have easily ordered a 2nd!! except I was quite full. Staff wonderful and pleasant very polite. I'm going to try a make a habit coming into risca when I can. 10/10

   Friendly local pub with good selection of well priced drinks - real ales and still ciders are a feature and change regularly. Pub is in CAMRA good beer guide. Food is good quality pub food at reasonable prices. Pool table, plenty of TVs to watch the sport and a fully covered outside seating area at the front to watch the world go by

   Another 5* what can I say? A genuine very warm welcome. Popular (even at 1.30 in the afternoon), place is geared to progress (owner Graham Wall - who introduced himself & is switched on) realises you have to cater for a diverse clientele - tv's everywhere (no sound thank god) live sport etc. Four ales (3 tried) all very good. Food lovely, this is not fast food but it's worth waiting for - will return (even though I live 37 miles away).
