   Both my son and daughter are enrolled at Playbox. My daughter joined when she was just 1.5 years old, transferring from another setting, and she absolutely adored it! She stayed until the age of 3.5 before moving on to the School Nursery. My son's journey with Playbox began at a tender age of only 20 weeks, and it has been nearly 2 years now. Surprisingly, he, being a very quiet boy, expresses his affection for Playbox by frequently talking about Hayley and Alice, whom he loves dearly.

   My son has been going to playbox for only 3 months so far and he loves it! He settled in straight away and they made him feel very welcome from day 1. It's so good to know you can leave your child with such caring staff and a setting where they can thrive. Makes going into work easier knowing he's having a brilliant day of learning and playing while making new friends. So happy we chose this nursery! ❤️

   Our 2 years old started nursery recently as we moved to Cardiff. Despite a big change I'm so happy with the care and support the nursery provide. Everyone in the team are truly amazing, giving the best care for our little one to settle in. I get daily updates how he is getting on. I can see that he already loves it at the nursery and really enjoys daily activities. His key worker, Nicki and the team are truly going above and beyond to make him feel happy. The nursery itself is very cute, with the large garden which had a big role in my decision making. We couldn't be more grateful.

   My son has been attending Playbox for two years and absolutely loves it. We moved to Cardiff from Scotland and they made the settling process incredibly easy for us. My son has learnt so much, can't wait to go to nursery each day, and genuinely loves each of the staff as if they were family. We've received fantastic support through potty training and always receive great communication. He's off to school soon and I feel really sad that we'll no longer see everyone at Playbox.

   We went to see the nursery for our 3 year old daughter. First impressions on the nursery were great and we registered her. We didn't hear back for weeks, so I made a few phone calls to chase up our daughter's registration. The manager/deputy manager told me that they were seeking funding of a 1-2-1 support for our daughter as she has a diagnosis of autism (we didn't ask for this). We still didn't hear back. Weeks after the visit I received and email saying they didn't think they were a 'suitable setting' for our daughter because of her additional needs. The deputy manager that made this decision has never met our daughter, hasn't spoken to us and hasn't even read her autism diagnosis (they never asked for it). Our daughter is very bright, makes great eye contact and loves to sing and spend time with other children. She would thrive in a nursery setting. When my partner phoned to challenge their decision, there was no real explanation given other than her autism. When my partner asked about children in their nursery who are seeking an autism diagnosis, the deputy manager stated that after they receive the diagnosis, they have a conversation with parents about whether their nursery is the right setting. It is unlawful to discriminate against children with additional needs and this is exactly what this nursery is doing. A very disappointing setting.

   My 3 year old has been attending this nursery for nearly a year and it's the only nursery she doesn't cry going into. They are absolutely amazing and their garden is the reason I chose this particular nursery as having outdoor space is really important to me. Thank you to Nicki and her team for taking such great care of our daughter.
