Both very honest from the start of what would fit, and what wouldn't and finding ways for us to get the most out of our money on our budget. They were both incredibly friendly, patient and all round lovely people, making what could be a daunting experience and absolute pleasure. Thank you so much!”

The facilities were very clean and having noticed the VIP signage on bowling my son mentioned it and the lady was.more than happy to put us there over all lovely place coin machines you can use your card or contactless to get money for the arcade :)”

“Great location and easy to find parking. The staff here are lovely and attentive and we were made up to be 'guests of the day' Room was clean and bedsheets spotless, teabags do need to be changed to a decent brand though. Some parts of the hotel were tired and in need of repair such as leaking roof and broken lift, however the breakfast was excellent and our experience was amazing. I definitely will choose The Hilton again to stay during our next rugby match and what an honour to meet the Japan team. Thanks all you made me and my boys so happy x”

“Our wedding at The Village Hotel was absolutely perfect from start to finish! The venue itself is beautiful, modern, and incredibly well-kept, creating the ideal backdrop for our special day. From the moment we booked, we felt completely supported and reassured. A huge thank you to Kieran and Sue, who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly. Kieran’s professionalism, attention to detail, and calm approach kept us feeling relaxed throughout, while Sue’s warmth, friendliness, and endless patience made the planning process a joy. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them, and they truly made us feel like our day mattered just as much to them as it did to us. The food was fantastic, the staff were attentive and welcoming, and the whole atmosphere was perfect from beginning to end. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks to The Village Hotel, and especially Kieran and Sue, for giving us memories we will cherish forever. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a flawless wedding venue!”

“This is such a well thought out and varied play space. It’s entertaining enough for repeat visits without being overstimulating like some traditional soft-plays. We held our 2 year old’s birthday party here fairly last minute after being let down by another venue (we didn’t know about Imagination Fascination beforehand otherwise we’d have just booked in the first place!) and it absolutely turned out for the best, as the team here could hardly have done more for us. Rebecca and Becky in particular worked their socks off pulling together a fantastic party for 40 very happy toddlers and their parents, and they’ve gained some very loyal customers out of it!”

“Had a great party here for my daughters 5th birthday party was a bit of confusion with my booking but all was fine and I was given 2 free passes for another visit which is great as we go often and to the one in Caerphilly , we loved the big party room upstairs it was the perfect size as it was full up there with all the kids and family so definitely recommend the bigger room. “Both my son and daughter are enrolled at Playbox. My daughter joined when she was just 1.5 years old, transferring from another setting, and she absolutely adored it! She stayed until the age of 3.5 before moving on to the School Nursery. My son's journey with Playbox began at a tender age of only 20 weeks, and it has been nearly 2 years now. Surprisingly, he, being a very quiet boy, expresses his affection for Playbox by frequently talking about Hayley and Alice, whom he loves dearly.”

“The staff here were really lovely. We had a young lad staying with us who had some challenging behaviours. The staff were very kind and understanding. They gave us daily feedback on his progress. In just a couple of weeks we all saw a great improvement. He loved going every day, and he loved the food and activities. “Had the best morning at Tiny Tumblers. The only play centre where I felt the balls pits were actually cleaned and all the equipment was well looked after. Food was delicious and the staff were so lovely. Very impressed.”

“Since costa on albany road closed I have been on the odd occasion popping into Coffee#1 across the road and Its such a cozy and welcoming coffee shop, Theres a lovely girl with brown hair and glasses and a tallish man with brown hair too (Didn’t get to catch her name) I spoke to both were so helpful and wonderful and the girl who took my order was cheerful and always had a smile on her face, She was really helpful and told be about their seasonal beans (although i did opt for the regular one) She even brought the drink over to me which was an amazing tasting coffee! and has a little chat before going back to work. If anyone is in the area I really do recommend coming here as the staff are really friendly and helpful and the environment is overall really welcoming!”

“Absolutely love little oaks. I take my 2 year old once a week and she’s just as excited as she was the first time we went there. I find it a much better experience than the local softplays as the imaginative play is endless, there’s loads to do and it’s a great way for her to learn how to interact with other toddlers and practice sharing and role play. The cafe is nice and reasonably priced, decent coffee which is always a plus. It’s clean and safe, and the staff are all lovely. I recommend it to anyone with little ones who want something a bit more interesting (and cleaner) than softplay.”
