“An amazing pre school and nursery setting. Both my children have thrived with the care and attention of the fantastic staff. Nothing is too much to ask. The outside provision is one of the best in the area and the new pre school building is fabulous. I highly recommend to everyone who has nursery aged children. We love The Learning Tree and will be gutted when our time here as a family is over.”

“They are really great! they are kind and loving with the kids. Our child is super-happy there and you can see how much he develops. Furthermore, as a family, we've gone through a few changes which required cutting down the time our child was going to nursery and then having him back again full time, and they've always been super accommodating. We are really happy with Kiddi-creche Holmstead and would highly recommend it to other parents.”

“I take my daughter to the Stay & Play sessions, a playgroup, and she absolutely loves it. They have it going through school holidays as well which is awesome. The staff are always so lovely and on top of everything. (Mariyam & Juri, your efforts and warm attitude towards everyone doesnt go unnoticed!!) They have always got something new going on, be it the provisions during the sessions or events going on within the nursery. They've recently had artists, a mini farm and lots more held at the nursery. Genuinely impressive. And that big garden/play area is soooo nice. Highly recommend.”

“My little boy started here in September and has settled in so well. He literally runs into nursery now and bangs on the door. The staff are really warm and friendly, they helped me loads with his settling in. He has really bonded with the staff in his room and his key worker. I feel really comfortable knowing he is in their care. They all love children and he just loves them. He has learnt so much and come on loads since starting at nursery which is all thanks yo the dedication of the staff. I work shifts and if i ever need to add or amend his hours the staff have always accommodated me. We are really happy we chose little wellies!!”

“Kids Cottage Childminders is a wonderful childcare setting, the staff are lovely and the manager is really supportive. When my children first started, they were supported closely to settle in well and enjoy going to this setting. The setting ensure their needs are met and they are happy. Lots of different activities and fun things to do everyday for the children.”

“Absolutely over the moon with the level of commitment, care and understand this nursery has had towards my daughter and us as parents! We recently changed our daughters nursery after having quite an uneasy start elsewhere to Tot spot day nursery, which was quite a vulnerable time for us and our daughter who is very shy, not the best at changing environments and very slow to warm up. From her settling in sessions to her first day the nursery staff had our feelings at best interest, they kept us up to date throughout the day with updates and photos which instantly made us feel at ease. My daughter has now fully settled into nursery and has amazing bonds with all of the staff in her room, each staff member has taken their time to get to know our daughter and made her feel comfortable enough to be her crazy self every single day and comes home bouncing with energy and tells us all about what she has done! Plus We still receive the same amount of reassuring photos and updates of her day!”

“Excellent soft play centre, very friendly welcoming staff and a great selection of food for both adults & children. Find it a great place to take my 18 month old, as some soft plays don't feel as safe due to older children running around but with Little Daisy’s being for under 5’s, it is perfect to allow my toddler to enjoy playing more independently. Love visiting & highly recommend, they do the best lattes too!”

“Our daughter is ready to start primary school in September and has been going to Giant Leap since she was just five months old! We have always found staff to be very friendly, welcoming and generally brilliant with our daughter especially with learning to adapt to change (moving rooms) and especially in the latest room in developing skills ready for school, such as phonics. Amanda in particular in the baby room was just amazing from start to finish! We remember just how amazing she was even now, a few years on. Amanda was extremely caring and just gave you all the time you needed to feel secure that your little one was well looked after. Dani in the last room has always been super attentive with our daughter (and she always talks about Dani and what mischief they’ve been up too!) and is always on hand to help where needed. Elle who deals with the Accounts has just been our “go to” for the entire time. No query goes unanswered (and we have had many of the years) and she’s always super helpful when it comes to querying the headache that is tax free childcare and Government funded hours! The staff do a brilliant job - our daughter has consistently enjoyed nursery and there is absolutely no doubt that nursery has made a huge impact on her learning and development over the years and will certainly stand her in good stead for the big challenge in September. Our daughter will be sad to leave, as we will be said for he but unfortunately our kids have to grow up into the big wide world - well, until the school holidays and I can use Go Outdoors holiday club! For anyone considering sending their child to Giant Leap, I couldn’t recommend enough. Take the “leap” (excuse the pun), you will not regret it.”

“We had our daughters 5th birthday here today and we honestly couldn't of asked for a better party The staff was so attentive from start to finish, the food was presented lovely and there was a good variety of foods and they also catered for different allergy requirements too. The disco was amazing, the party host Darcie was great, she got all the children involved, the snow machine at the end was definitely a hit, Our daughter said it was the best day ever. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others Thank you once again”

“Really great soft play. Its fairly small but really well laid out and perfect for the younger end of toddlers. Really cheap, clean, easy to park. Food wise I'd say is fairly basic but it's again well priced. Just a great place to have locally in Holmfirth.”

“A lovely place for parents and children to spend time, the sensory room is lovely and my baby really enjoys spending time in there. We have recently completed a baby massage course with Katie which we loved. She takes photos of you and your baby and sends them all to you at the end which is such a lovely touch! Katie is so lovely, so friendly and very welcoming. We just signed up for baby yoga too, with additional time to play included, its great value and a lovely place to meet other mums. The cafe has great treats too!”

“One of the best play areas I have come across in West Yorkshire. Prices are very reasonable here. Indoor seating is modern and clean. Lots to do for kids including donkey rides at £3 per child. Located inside Tong Garden centre. Note gets very busy in peak times. Free parking.”

“Always welcoming, clean and safe area for my toddler to play in, we have been coming since he was a baby and since I was a child, we have attended birthday parties and they have always been brilliant! Very reasonable price as you have unlimited play, no need to book a session but never seems too busy to be able to enjoy the place, a lot of the play areas in the area get very busy to the point there is limited seating and very overcrowded whereas you are always guaranteed to be allowed in even on the weekends! Food and drink is delicious lots of choices Always clean and tidy, staff are friendly and experienced.”

“This place is amazing! Firstly, I really appreciate a soft play that's open on a Sunday. It's big, modern, immaculately clean and everything is in great condition. The staff are lovely, there's loads to do and my toddler had so much fun this will definitely be our go to place. We just turned up first thing and there was plenty of space plus on site parking, brilliant!”

“We've been here now on a couple of occasions since the new owners took over. It's a fantastic place for the kids to go and let off some steam. Trampolining, soft play, dodgeball, VR machines, gaming consoles - there is something for kids of all ages. There is a great food menu & friendly staff. Today we held our youngest's birthday party here with circa 25 kids. From the start, nothing was too much trouble and the manager, Kayleigh, and the rest of the staff were really helpful and accommodating. We all arrived and were given trampoline socks. The group were then taken through for a safety video before being allowed onto the trampolines etc. We had an hour on this area then went though to our party room. The party room is a brightly decorated room with a huge table in the middle and benches all around. There is a Bluetooth speaker for you to connect to and play your own party music. The food was plentiful and the selection was great with chips, pizzas, chicken nuggets, crisps, carrots, cucumber, biscuits, ice pops and juice/ water. No one went home hungry! After this we were allowed a bit of extra play time in the play gym or on the consoles/ VR machine (you need tokens for this). Anyway, it's a gem of a place and I highly recommend it. If you've got kids of different ages, it's cracking.”

“We have just had my son's 5th birthday party at Diddy Middy's and I can honestly say we had the best experience. From the smooth and helpful organising to attentive staff on the day who were so friendly and could not do enough for us. We had the wonderful Kinga as our party host. Nothing was too much trouble and my son and his friends had a blast. Thank you again! Definitely recommend.”

“Came in today, when we arrived the receptionist was on the phone but made us her priority straight away. She was very warm and made us feel very welcomed. Helped us out with skate. When ordering food the blonde girl who handed it to us went and got sauces as we had forgotten them. Overall, 10/10 would recommend and will be coming back again!”
