Lenka at the executive lounge made every morning a good start. Didn’t get to know the name of the incredibly tall gentleman who came to refresh our room in the evening and to fix the lobby light. He made sure everything was in order. The leadership at this hotel is making all the right ticks.”

“Kids love it. It’s a nice place especially for winter when there is not much outdoors and as everyone said- lots of options so kids like to stay for really long hours here. Sometimes it can be very cold indoors but i dress kids appropriately so it is not a big issue.”

“Hotel room was spacious and had all the necessary facilities available such as in room iron and full-size ironing board, tea and coffee making facilities, TV, WiFi in room and public areas. Food was of a very good standard with the included breakfast as I had dinner elsewhere. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The only issue is the location is a long way from the city centre meaning taxi service is expensive to use and buses are at least 15 min walk which with luggage could be an issue.”

“Our daughter is very happy! We had a tour before signed up , open plan rooms, big,bright ,colourful. Also clean and tidy, happy with their rules about the indoor shoes,clothes and extras such as tooth brush etc. Very warm and welcoming staff members,follow each kids needs and make sure they are entertained ,for example our daughter loves to sing, so whenever she gets upset they sing with her. There is a nice playground outside, space to leave buggy outside under the roof so they don’t get wet. Also spacious car park.”

“Great place ran by volunteers for families seeking contact. Would recommend. Very spacious, they have board games and toys, books and a quiet room if you need it. I am not sure of they have disability access however because I use the stairs however i did not see any ramp in case anyone needs one. There may be another entrance or exit for such a situation. They have a microwave in case you have to reheat anything and are helpful as can be if aid is required.”

“My grandson has attended the holiday club through the summer .This is the first time Zack has been allowed to stay at a group because of his SEN needs and staff have been so good and patient with him. Thank you so much you are all amazing”

“The kids were buzzing with excitement when we visited here. There's a designated area for the little ones, keeping the tiny tots safe and sound. For the older children, the soft play and large slide is a guaranteed hit, providing hours of entertainment. It is a great place to let the kids burn off some energy and the whole family can relax here without a worry. There is a nice little cafe to chill out, grab a coffee and have a bite to eat. It's a win-win for everyone involved.”

“My son went to Kiddy kapers from year 4 to 6 for out of school club. He really enjoyed going to the clubs and the staff are so friendly. They provide a safe and clean environment for the kids with a lot of fun activities. Due to work demands, I would have last minute pick up requests at times and the team were very accommodating. Thank you so much for all your help and support. My son is really going to miss his time at kiddy kapers. Best of luck to them all..”

“Both of my kids have attended this nursery and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The staff are all so friendly and caring. My son who is an outdoorsy child is a big fan of the onsite and offsite forest school. I get lots of pictures through the week and my kids have always come out smiling. The food they cook sounds delicious too. They also take them out on days out on the bus, walking or the nursery minibus. They put a lot of time and effort into everything they do for the kids. Overall an excellent nursery!”

“My twins had to move nursery with no notice - the staff at Handprints were wonderful. My twins were (understandably) initially upset every morning but Kyla, Megan, Shannon, and Abigail made time for them and worked really hard to ensure they settled in. Eventually, N and J looked forward to going and really thrived at the nursery. We often drive past and the twins exclaim ‘there’s the nursery!’ demonstrating clearly that they have fond memories.”

“We viewed lots of nurserys throughout Leicestershire before selecting this one. It's THAT good. Some of the reasons we love it are... They make a huge effort to be kind to the environment by using wooden toys and teaching children how to look after flora and fauna. They even make their own play dough! The building is large and the gardens have beautiful established trees for summer shade. The kids even nap outside in the summer, it's the cutest thing to see. They make great use of the uni facilities; taking the kids out to see the fountain, fruit trees and basketball pitches. And because the campus has lecturers from other countries, there's babies from other countries. They all celebrate all the different cultures with joy and pride! The carers rejoice in the kids' achievements as much as the parents do. It's so heartwarming to read the updates on the app. For us, we were also impressed with the number of males in care roles, which is a rare thing to find, but establishes healthy gender norms from a young age. The menu is spot on. Great quality diverse food. And meal times are structured so that kids can learn to be independent and varied eaters. Our son certainly has a rich and fulfilling time there and they definitely offer him a wider variety of activities than we would at home. Overall the atmosphere and culture is uncomparible; in our search for the right nursery, nothing came close to this. And finally, it's right next to a coffee shop that sells great coffee so I order and pay for my latte, nip next door to drop my son off, then nip back to collect my coffee. It's heaven!”
