Stayed here this week with family, very clean and great rooms looking into the reception. Only gripe I had was the relaxing chairs were stained in my room. For a Marriott hotel I would expect the fabric chairs to be upholstery cleaned as it's not pleasant seeing. However the stay was pleasant and as always the amenities are always worth staying for over the Hilton. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a lovely hotel. Staff are efficient and friendly, gym looked well kitted out, but I did not have time to try it. Rooms spacious and clean, bed comfortable. Bar service was excellent and breakfast buffet was fresh and well stocked.

Waited nearly 1hr for our starters only for them to forget one. Then it was over another hour for the main meals for them to forget one of these also. The rooms are decent apart from the beds. You might as well of slept on the floor as the mattress was like concrete. I wasn't the only person who complained about the beds.

5 star hotel. Beautiful interiors, spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and excellent breakfast. But what stands out most is the service. The staff are incredible - friendly, engaging and go out their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Reception, breakfast staff, chef were all fantastic. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone.

The room is clean and comfortable. The outstanding part about this hotel is the staff and service. Their passion to be in the hospitality profession can be felt. They want us to feel welcomed and valued. Kate and the front office values our return to the hotel. We appreciate the effort and welcome gifts. Lenka at the executive lounge made every morning a good start. Didn’t get to know the name of the incredibly tall gentleman who came to refresh our room in the evening and to fix the lobby light. He made sure everything was in order. The leadership at this hotel is making all the right ticks.

Hotel was very nice and room was warm and spacious. Food and drink is overpriced (£5.50 for side of chips + added service charge, £5.00 for a pint of lemonade). I was impressed to see the room had USB charging points in the lights and 'This Works' toiletries, but disappointed there wasn't a coffee machine at breakfast.

The hotel is lovely, and having free electric car charging is a huge bonus - I just wish there were more chargers available! My only real complaint is the parking charge - for the luxury of parking in the hotel’s huge and mostly empty car park I had to pay £6 per night, which was quite a shock given that this isn’t a city centre hotel, and parking is by no means limited. In future I would consider other hotels in the area that don’t spring similar hidden fees on guests.

Nice hotel overall. Room very spacious, clean etc. let itself down in a couple of areas - 1. I requested additional coffee machine pods - never arrived. 2. Was at a company event with meal - food was OK but lacked seasoning (none on the table either). 3. my dessert never arrived. Trying to locate a member of staff to request said dessert - impossible.

Not too far to the city. Great location. Biggest room I've ever stayed in and nice modern art on the walls. Bathroom sparkling clean. Bed was huge, although a little soft for me but that's just personal preference. Breakfast was of a good standard. Chef had no issue cooking me a fresh egg , instead of opting for the hot plate choice . The waitresses catered to our every whim, bringing fresh coffee and chai with a smile as we ate. Overall a great experience and will definitely return.

I stayed 2 nights and was here for a wedding so was in the hotel the whole duration. The room was fine and clean. Everything I wanted was there. I found the pillow too soft but once I folded it in half it was fine. I had a good night's sleep. I tried to connect my phone to the TV to play videos but I think you had to pay additional for that. I would stay here again if it was convenient. I think it's about 20 mins drive from the city.
