However, and more importantly, this place is innovative in supporting the community, local artists and crafters and the staff are dedicated to improving life in Netherfield. A totally new concept for our little town which so often bears the brunt of negative views.”

“Best breakfast ever. I recomend this to anyone for the first time in Nottingham and looking for where to eat. Nice vegetarian and vegan options. Great matcha late and chai late. Staff is very nice and helpfull. Also, decoration is lovely.”

“Stay and play at alf&Co on a Tuesday has honestly been the highlight of our week on maternity leave. Kirby and her team are the nicest friendliest people and the whole atmosphere is so lovely. The variety of toys is excellent and they always make sure there are toys for each age group. Having a hot drink included too is such a nice touch. Could not recommend it more. And being on mapperley top there are loads of places to go for lunch after with the other mums and dads. The shop too is gorgeous and we've bought some lovely toys and clothes that are such great quality. If you want a group to go to with baby/toddlers this one is fab. Don't be nervous about going on your own, you'll make friends. It's so relaxed and everyone is lovely. They also have lots of extras like a photographer some weeks, sleep experts another and a pottery lady for some lovely baby footprint Xmas presents. I'm so sad to be going back to work and will really miss this. Iris has LOVED it! Thank you Kirby and Rebecca, you'll never know how much this session helps mums get out of the house and get some much needed interaction. Thank you! Xxx”

“1st time we've took the Kids and tjey enjoyed it. As a bonus you can park on site so it saves you a bit in parking charges, you can get a coffee and bits to eats while the kids are playing. Worth a visit”

“My son would live at nursery if he could. My eldest went to The Wolds and left only to start school. He’s always asking to go back and if he can pick my youngest up with me to see all the ladies that look after him again. My youngest is in inventors and does 3 days a week, the other 4 days of the week he talks about wanting to be there and when he’s going again. His speech, confidence and personality has come on in bundles. We live away from my family and they comment every-time they visit about how much he has changed. He comes home everyday to tell us what he has done and which friend he has played with.He nearly always has something to show me that he has made or we look an Famly to see what he has been up to. The app is great for this, we know when he’s napped and for how long. What he’s had for lunch and tea and how much. I wouldn’t want my boys to of gone anywhere else. I 100% recommend The Wolds and dread the day we have to say goodbye again and head to school. It’s like a family there and they’ve given him the most wonderful, fun and learning start to life. I will be forever greatful”

“Millfield has been the answer to our childcare wishes for over 3 years! Our daughter absolutely loves everything about it, especially the staff - they're like an extension to our family! The love, care and attention that has been shown to our family is outstanding! The environment is clean and organised with lots of toys, creative and imaginative space. Outside is huge and children can have some freedom whilst under watchful eyes! I've travelled from Bingham daily and have never had a problem travelling by car or parking. I have no regrets choosing Millfield to care for our little one!”

“I absolutely loved this nursery from the second I walked in, I had to go back to work when my daughter was only 7 months so I was quite anxious she needed to be at the right place to ease that fear of leaving her and this nursery was the one. It is really clean, the staff treat her like she is their own they are so informative and really care for the children. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.”

“Had a lovely all you can eat breakfast for my birthday and the staff looked after us so well. My friend and I visited with our babies and they helped us with high chairs and fetching drinks and food from the buffet for us while we were breastfeeding which was such a huge help. Our eyes were too big for our bellies but they very kindly provided us with take away boxes so we didn’t have any waste. We ordered some Prosecco to have with our orange juice and when they heard it was my birthday they gave it to us on the house. Fantastic service, will definitely be back again!”

“Fit for purpose soft play. Staff nice enough if slightly under staffed on this Monday. Go karts were not operating due to said shortage of staff. Entry price acceptable for location Cafe prices reasonable but it's older coffee machines that use powdered milk not proper steamed milk that ends up in your latte Didn't order food as you can get cheaper n healthier elsewhere ******"Update from second visit******* After speaking to staff before arriving the go carts were able to be run and they are a cracking bit of fun. Even tried the menu and the kids meals are value for money and the adult meal was nice enough ######### THIRD VISIT ########### As usual good value soft play just outside Nottingham. Clean even though some of the movable soft play elements are starting to show their age. More than happy to run the kiddy karts for the little one. Still not the best hot drinks but the skin on fries were lovely. A little bit quieter than I expected for a bank holiday weekend. As always will come again.”

“Me and my 5 year old daughter love this shop and often visit even if we don't particularly need to buy anything. Smyths toys superstores have a massive selection of games, toys and activities that cater for big and little kids. There is plenty to see and buy in this shop.”
