Fabulous all day breakfast and smoothie. Chilled atmosphere and music at a level that doesn’t interfere with conversation. Gluten free, veggie and vegan offerings too. Great staff and a thoroughly good experience. Would definitely recommend.

Great find as we were looking for something a little different for Brunch. Fun menu and great coffee. Very helpful staff definitely will be back to try the lunch menu

Lovely cafΓ© with decent food. Slight ’student’ vibe which is not an issue. Saw another customer with dog and overall friendly. Great place to bring laptop and get work done. I went on a saturday lunch time-ish and it was packed out, slightly noisy. Was warned by the friendly staff that my omelette with cheese would take up to 30mins. I appreciate the honesty. Coffee arrived first and food followed suit in 20mins or so. Will visit again.

CafΓ© Sobar is a fantastic spot in Nottingham – the staff are unbelievably welcoming, proactive, polite, and genuinely friendly. They go above and beyond, whether it’s keeping an eye on your laptop while you nip to the bathroom or bringing coffee to your table so you don’t have to wait around. The coffee is excellent, and the food is spot on – I had a BLT with root vegetable soup, and both were made with high-quality ingredients and tasted delicious. It’s the kind of place you could happily sit and work in all day, sipping away. This is now my go-to place whenever I’m in Nottingham, and I’ll definitely be bringing my wife here next time we’re out shopping. A huge shout-out to the staff – they’re what make this place so special and why I’ll keep coming back.

Love love love this cafe in Nottingham. The best independent place in town, in my opinion. The staff are really nice and the food is always amazing. Great selection of cakes and hot drinks too. Today’s choice was vegan breakfast (mushrooms swapped out). Everything was perfect! Would order again. I’ll be returning soon!
