“Our son has been with Highfield Nursery School and had loved every day there. The nursery is a home away from home and the children are treated like family. As parents, we think it is most important that we completely trust our child's carer, to know our child is safe and is receiving the best foundation that they can through carefully planned activities and play. It has been wonderful to see our child grow in skills and confidence since he's joined the nursery. Lynette and Alec have particularly been marvelous in the way they've handled safeguarding since coronavirus. We've not had any concerns about sending our child back. The intricate planning and co-working with parents made us truly feel involved in shaping decisions that involves our child. We totally recommend the nursery. You wouldn't need to think twice :)”

“Haven't been in for ages, last time was not long after it had opened. Friendly staff. Had the I think deluxe hot chocolate that comes with a cake. I chose a biscoff cupcake. Both the drink and cake were amazing.”

“Our daughters journey from babies to toddlers is everything we could wish for at Abbotswood. The staff are caring, passionate and have such a fantastic bond with our little one. They are always working to find new ways to engage and develop the children through play and activities and have the most incredible setting. “Great little community centre, has a soft play area that is great for tiny ones and toddlers alike. They also have an area for the kids to whizz around on little cars, and an ample outside play area with great climbing frames etc. Lovely place to host a kid's party!”

“We booked Kids2Day for our daughter's sixth birthday party, and were not disappointed. Excellent well-maintained soft play kept the children happy and excited while the parents had a reserved comfy sofa area (and a proper little cafe for refreshment) - also, pleasingly, there was no loud music! Afterwards, good-quality birthday tea for the children in a nice little party room upstairs, catering for special dietary requirements, even at short notice. Staff were pleasant and communicative from booking through to the day itself. We had a really friendly and helpful party host who took care of everything once we arrived, and the whole experience made the birthday girl feel really special. Smiles all round - would definitely recommend :)”

“I currently have a daughter at the Bishopdown Farm Preschool and I am extremely please at how happy she is, she always comes out beaming. She has developed such confidence and made some lovely friends. The reviews on this website are a little old, so I wanted to also update you on some of the changes. The preschool has been runnng for over 15 years and recently moved over to a purpose built preschool mobile over at the Greentrees site and opens during school hours. They have a wonderful outdoor play area now and two lovely rooms dividing children into age groups. This has such a postive effect on the children and staff. The preschool also runs a successful breakfast and afterschool club (Farm Friends) that runs every day for students attending the Greentrees Primary School.”

They give amazing detailed reports on blossom and it is lovely to see the pictures they take of my son having fun! Would definetly recommend this preschool!”

“My daughter started here in April 2023. Out of all the nurseries we visited, Lisa by far was the most thorough and helpful on our initial visit. We loved their set up and the outdoor area, we were sold by their daily walks around the field . My daughter struggled when leaving me and has come on leaps and bounds with all the staffs help. “Only preschool near by that takes from 2 years, both my daughter's loved going here!! All the staff are friendly, approachable and very welcoming. The site is set on the local primary school field and provides an abundance of space for out door play includes the mud kitchen which was my daughter's favourite. I Couldnt imagine sending my children anywhere else, my son cant wait to start in april.”

“This is by far the best nursery in the area. My son found other nurseries difficult to settle in as he was very clingy. Lee and her staff at Parkfield were very patient, kind, fun and let him settle at his own pace. With some being mums themselves they understood his anxiety and were very nurturing and good at reassuring and distracting him. The Montessori equipment is endless, there’s so many educational activities and the nursery is the biggest I’ve seen in the area, with a huge outdoor space. However they have a small number of child to adult ratio. Being in a school was an excellent insight to prepare him for a school setting next year and it’s very secure. I feel very safe leaving him there, he’s a very happy boy and always leaves with lots of arts and crafts that he’s been busy making each day. I would highly recommend parkfield nursery.”

Ranger walks around the Avon Heath Country Park are a highlight in his day. I highly recommend this nursery!”

“Really great nursery. Kind and supportive environment for kids to be their best. I love the fact that they have a cook in situ so the food is fresh and nutritious. Rooms are big and the outdoor space at the front is very well used when the days are nice, they also take the kids for walks outside when possible. They also supported me as a parent when needed so I highly recommend it.”
