“8th birthday party. Superb venue. Kids had a ball. I initially didn't think the time slot was enough, but it was perfect. 1 hour of straight Nerf attack certainly tired them out, and the 45 minutes in the Dominoes room for the after part was brilliant! More than enough pizza to go round. (Including the adults). Can't recommend this venue enough. Staff were so helpful and on the ball. Well organised and exceptional value for money given you have the place to yourself whilst your event is on.”
“A genuine local pub that's friendly and welcoming. Large beer garden with entertainment for the kids. Quality beers and wines. Has a large function area for hire.”
“An incredible nursery, that is truly intergenerational. The team are outstanding in their care and development of the children, making their nursery experience extremely special, with the added bonus of sharing their daily activities with ‘grand friends’ in Belong.”
“This is my sons second day nursery, yet the only positive one he has had. My little boy started here about nineteen months ago when he had just turned two years old. He had to leave another nursery due to a very negative experience. With that we were both aprehensive. But busybees had removed all worries immediately putting us and granny at immense ease. Each room he has been in the staff have listened, cared and taken on board all of our concerns. Have a high knowledge of allergies and correct child age appropriate behaviour. Whilst acting in a very professional manner at all times. I can't sing there praises enough. Thanku all at busy bees especially Mandy, Kyle, Lizi , Jade, Laura, Megan, Linzi Cathy Kaci Olivia and chloe and all who have looked after and continue to look after my cheeky little boy. You have restored my faith in Day Nurseries. X”
“I enjoy visiting my grandchildren at the contact centre seeing as it is nice, clean and very bright. I really appreciate the helpful and friendly staff.”
“My little boy has been going to Happy Bunnies since September 2024. It takes him a while to adjust to change and both years he has been here the staff have made him feel comfortable going to nursery. He loves it, the staff are friendly and attentive to his needs and I would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for somewhere to send their little one.”
“Our little boy goes to this nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since starting, they have supported us with his eating which has come on loads. He attends 4 full days a week and has done since he was 11 months, I feel more than comfortable leaving him in the care of this nursery, the staff in the baby room are amazing - Niamh, Ellie, Lindsey, Janet and Amy. He loves it!”
“Attended a 15 week course with Empowered Bumps. The course was fantastic. It’s a lovely safe space for new mums to bring their babies, learn various techniques and baby massage. But also was able to meet some lovely mums who we all were able to share our experiences with. Great course for helping with a new baby, but also promotes talking about and using meditation etc to help with your own mental health post-partum. Thank you for such an enriching experience.”
“Brilliant service! bouncy castle was lovely and clean and my kids had an awesome party. Staff were friendly and efficient as staff delivered and collected on time as stated. Great communication all round. Really easy to book and pay on their website which was easy to navigate, I'd definitely recommend Bounce Higher.”
“Went in on the off chance. Enjoyed their breakfast menu at lunchtime. Friendly and welcoming to both humans and dogs! It's hidden behind the fringe of the barber and a really good find!”
“This is super place with two young craftsmen who do truly great work. I left a broken old 1960’s Balloon chair & they gave it back looking fabulous & fully restored! Highly recommended and reasonable charges too. Here’s before & after.”
“The best soft play I've been to. Clean, not overcrowded, calm but fun, warm, nice atmosphere, great coffee, lovely food, friendly staff. Fab birthday party too. Can't recommend enough but it does spoil you for anywhere else!!”
“Both of my daughters have been coming to Monkey Puzzle for over 2 years so we have seen every age group from Babies to Preschool! We cannot fault the caring and personal atmosphere they have always provided and the girls have always been very happy to visit for their sessions. The food is very good (and gets eaten!) and there is always a variety of activities and themes to keep things interesting throughout the year. We would highly recommend their always friendly team, despite dealing with our little terrors several times a week!”
“Excellent. We have had both of our girls go here. The place is kept really well. It’s really big, much bigger than other nurseries I’ve experienced. Very friendly staff and always positive and happy. Highly recommend.”
“Though not very big, I find this to be a bonus, you can sit and relax, enjoy a hot cuppa whilst visibly being able to see where your kids are and what they are up to. The staff are very attentive, kind and make you feel at home. Will definitely visit again”
“We have just moved to the area and this is by far the best cafe we have been to. Absolutely lovely experience and amazing food even though we had an awkward request they were more than happy to accommodate us. Would recommend this any day!”
“The Tuesday lunchtime concerts here (https://wesleychester.co.uk/whats-on/music-wesley) are well worth attending. Today the performers were four winners of the Chester Competitive Music Festival, mainly students from the Royal Northern College of Music or Chetham's School of Music, all very impressive musicians.”
“This place is amazing. I’ve brought both my grandchildren here. They both loved it. Stayed for hours. I even got to have an uninterrupted cup of tea. Result!”
“It is really good and even on somedays they do movies and the kids really do enjoy themselves. They do things like painting, bringing the reptiles out and more.its an excellent place for a birthday party.they also have a tuck shop to buy sweets, crisps, ice creams, ice lollies and drinks. They serve lunch so the kids arent hungry aswell and they have a playground outside so the kids dont get bored, they even have a pool table and a place to go on Computers.”
“Great place for the children to let off some steam.”
“We went for the toddler session and our two year old had a whale of a time. There was more than enough there to keep him entertained and busy for the whole duration. So much in fact that he didn't get time to explore everything, but that doesn't matter because there will be new things for him to discover next time. The biggest hit was the augmented reality sandbox where he got totally immersed watching the dinosaurs and the volcano while manipulating the sand to try and stop and redirect the lava flow. Some of the things did not work properly, but that did not detract from any of the fun. Just one other little thing to note, I don't know if this is just our little man's party trick (all of our family seem to have a few) but when we stopped to eat, the chairs in the cafe area are designed with holes in them and our little man managed to get his thumb stuck, not once, but three times! Daddy had to come to the rescue as it was well and truly stuck each time. Can you Imagine that....”
“The Tigers Head now has Landlady Tracy at the helm, and the pub has returned to being what it used be, ie a good local pub that serves good food and is all the better for it. We stayed in our motorhome on the grassed area at the rear of the pub which is free if you eat at the Tigers. Keralan Curry was particularly excellent as was the Chicken Ceasar Salad, and reasonably priced too. It would be nice to see the moho fraternity return here and support this quintessentially English pub, set in the delightful village of Norley. N.B. No need to bring supplies with you, there's a little shop opposite the pub which seems to stock everything!”
“Had an absolutely fantastic stay here. The staff were so accommodating, had to extend our stay by a night and it was no issue. Rooms were lovely and clean, the beds were very comfortable. Location was fantastic. I would come back to this hotel in a heartbeat.”
“Great place with lots going on for the local community and shows you can make a success of such places with some thought. I visited for a birthday. Plenty of quiet, comfy places to sit away from the main, decent sized area. I think the cafe provided the food which was decent. Drinks fairly priced. I was on the soft drinks but, apparently, the cocktails were lovely Plenty of car parking and not too far from the station.”
“Fantastic location and the people who run it could not be more welcoming. Very friendly, well run and happy place to be.”
“We found this place on Google map before our visit to Everton and Liverpool Stadium. If you are around the area and looking for meal option, we recommend this place for its friendly environment and value for money comfort food”
“Fantastic place for children and young people to attend, we always deliver our Half Term Holiday Clubs at this venue. The staff are friendly and kids/teens have a great time.”
“I went to yoga today for the first time. The tutor was very good and all the ladies there were very welcoming and friendly. A nice cup of tea and chat after! I will be there again next week.”
“Beautiful park garden with eco friendly play areas. Old man who drives mini train was so friendly nice person. He made sure everyone enjoyed who ridden the train.”
