   This is a wonderful shop. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. I took my watch in for repair and they couldn't have been more helpful. Independent shops such as these are disappearing from the high streets and we all need to protect them by using them. Whilst there is a convience in online shopping, you miss out on the helpful advice, the sense of community and, in this case, good old Yorkshire charm!

My future son in law picked the perfect engagement ring for my daughter; my wife found an amazing necklace there and all at very reasonable prices. We've bought, and will continue to buy, our foreign currency from them (better exchange rates than many). The team are very friendly and knowledgeable; a pleasure to deal with.

   Had some Amber earrings cleaned and the sales lady could not have been more helpful and accommodating, even finding me a box to put them in, as they were a gift. Earrings came out beautifully. Also have bought Euros twice from here. Staff are always super friendly and appear happy at their work. I've passed some mornings when the shutters are down and they are always laughing and chatting. Thank you for your great, old fashioned customer service!

   Went there this morning to have a watch which I bought there repaired, was served by a Grey haired woman with glasses, she was so UNHELPFUL, walked out bewildered, don’t want to see her or the shop again, good riddance.

   Took a digital watch in for a new battery I waited for over a week to get it back to be told it wasn’t just the battery but something in the workings and they couldn’t repair it. I was going to throw it away but being sentimental I tried opening it myself to see if it was possible to repair only to find that the battery hadn’t been replaced and when I put a new battery in it it works, a bit of wd40 and it’s as good as new.. not impressed.i don’t think they even took the back off.

   The experience I have had at sending my 3 rings in for repair is unbelievable, It took over 3mths from them going into the shop Nov 2016 till today Feb 2017 to pick them back up. Plus 1 of them came back with a different stone in. Over the 3mths I kept ringing up asking where are they and all they kept saying is that the jeweler where they had sent them off to was very busy and he was having trouble in getting the stones [ garnets, topaz and a black onyx ] it was the black onyx that came back different the excuse for that was the jeweler could not get a plain black onyx so he put in what he thought was best with out telling me. No discount or nothing was applied trust me I wont be going there again
