Please don’t leave your pets at Wey Farm Boarding Kennels & Cattery. Our dog spent a week there and if I hadn’t picked her up this morning not sure she would have made it. We were told nothing at all at pick up - all was fine they said. I write this as I sit in the emergency vet. I never imagined that her soiled bottom was blood, but after she tried to poop and seemed uncomfortable I noticed a glob of blood on the grass and her bloody bottom. I went back to Wey Farm to ask about her situation, when, how long, etc before heading to the emergency vet. I was told only after I went back that she had diarrhea the morning before twice, had only eaten a couple of mouthfuls and that the caretaker at Wey Farm had not noticed blood in her diarrhea. I asked to inspect her kennel and sure enough, there were marks of the gooey blood stain of her diarrhea and some other bloody spots throughout her private kennel. The vet has just come out now - it’s an infection that can be fatal - our dog will stay hospitalized.

I would definitely not recommend this kennel. I have booked to have my dog there over Christmas. I rang up about the booking to be told the booking has been cancelled, two weeks before Christmas. I told the man I did not cancel the booking, and he was very very rude to me., he said that I had cancelled it. It’s an absolute lie and I will not be gaslighted. He said I could have the booking anyway, and I was rang back 20 minutes Later to say I actually now could not have the booking. I have lost money as I have had to cancel my holiday, as I would not be able to find another Kennel two weeks before Christmas. The man is extremely rude. I have used it a couple of times before, and it’s like a Prison for Dogs, As they do not get walked adequately and Is very dirty, there’s one particular man that is very unkind to the dogs. I really really would not leave my dogs there

Wow, wow, wow! I recently had the pleasure of boarding my Otterhound, Otti, at Weyfarm Boarding Kennels, Ottershaw, Chertsey, and I can’t express how thrilled I am with the experience! Initially, I was quite anxious about leaving him for two weeks, especially since I usually entrust his care to his original breeder. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to find a new place, but my worries quickly vanished once I found this gem. From the outset, the booking process was seamless. I appreciated being able to upload Otti's medical information and confirm his kennel cough vaccination, which made me feel more secure about his stay. I was genuinely nervous about leaving him without any prior trial run, but my concerns were unfounded. Upon arrival, I was impressed by how secure and well-managed the facility is. The staff were professional and willing to answer any questions I had, putting my mind at ease. Dropping Otti off was a breeze, and the entire process was remarkably smooth. Today, when I picked him up, I was greeted warmly and the check-out process was just as easy as check-in. To my delight, Otti was back in my arms within minutes! It was clear to me that he’d been well cared for and treated amazingly during his stay. I’m so grateful to have found a boarding place that prioritises quality and truly cares for the dogs entrusted to them. I’m already looking forward to booking again for next year! If you’re looking for a trustworthy kennel, I highly recommend Weyfarm Kennels. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of my Otti! Sean

My dog stayed here from 6th–12th September. When I collected him, he unfortunately had a rash, sore paws and scabs all over him he was very uncomfortable, which meant I had to take him to the vet straight away. He’s now wearing a cone while he recovers. I sent photos to the kennel as requested but didn’t hear back, so I chased later in the day. When I spoke with a member of staff, I didn’t feel my concerns or the vet’s advice were taken seriously infact he was extremely rude and unprofessional . I had hoped for a more caring response and better communication, given the trust you place in someone when leaving your dog in their care.

My dogs have been here several times. They come back dirty and sick every time. We won't be using them again. I would recommend you find a different option.

As a kennels, one would assume that the welcoming is friendly and that you are able to check the condition of where the dogs will stay. Needless to say at Wey farm the welcoming is stone cold, bordering on rude and they do not allow you to look at the kennels themselves. Given other pictures and reviews I can understand why there has been issues. Stay clear.

we left our dogs there for a few nights and upon picking them up, we were told they had a bath, which I thought was nice of them. later that evening we found out why, they were both absolutely covered in fleas. it was too late to buy a spray as the shops were already closed, so now the house is infested and it will take months to go away. our dogs had all vaccines and flea and worming tablets before going, so I can only imagine the place. they don't show the accommodation when you drop them, "too busy to show around"... never again.

Wonderful place where to leave your pet! Lovely staff members! Our dog loves everyone there. She is excited to go there and get paired with other doggys! Lovely grounds, kennels look clean, staff members always seem running around and checking on pets. Lovely expirence, would recommend to everyone! Goood Price too!!! Remember that staff members always are on farm and don’t leave animals without supervision like other places! That’s like super bonuss for us, as our fur baby is most loved one in our family! Couldn’t be happier!

1.0 star rating Left our dog here for four nights and five days while we attended a wedding abroad. Picked him up, took him home and immediately noticed a big patch of dried blood on his chest and dried blood on his collar. He was acting very lethargic, was extremely thirsty and had very hot ears so we called the kennels straight away to ask what had happened. They said they hadn't noticed anything...maybe it was a "burst mole"...We called the vets and arranged arranged appointment for that evening. I then called the kennels back to ask more questions and was met with some very shady replies. What I gathered was he was left in the kennel with another dog he didn't know for the duration of his stay, night and day. Bear in mind the dogs are left unsupervised over night from 5pm till the morning time so God knows what could have happened in that time. We took him to the vets, they shaved the area and sure enough he had a wound that the vets determined was probably days old. He's now on a course of antibiotics and seems beside himself with relief to be home. I can't believe that neither the patch of blood nor the blood on his collar weren't noticed by anyone. We also did not give consent to him being in a kennel with another dog.. which honestly seems absolutely ridiculous and a recipe for disaster. It says in their conditions they will only put them in with consent and also that they are given the upmost care and attention. I can honestly say I'm appalled by their blatant lack of care and blasé approach when dealing with my call. I was told to "enjoy the rest of my evening" despite just telling him I'd be taking my very poorly dog to the vets from being injured in their care. Never again and I'll be keeping a VERY close eye on my dog over the next few days
