Terrible service-do not use I made an appointment for my son, the consultation never happened as the app wasn’t working. Despite promises of being called back, this also never happened. As per the app the cost is £54, however I was charged £68.99, and this for an appointment that didn’t happen due to their issues.
The video call function in the app didn’t work, so the appointment had to be conducted over the phone instead. Because of this, I couldn’t show the required documents during the call and had to email three separate documents during the phone call, which made the whole process feel clunky and inefficient. On top of this, the GP had poor bedside manner - rude, patronising and unclear at several points during the consultation. Overall, this was not the level of service I would expect for a £49 fee just for the appointment. You are also automatically charged £20 on top of the £49 appointment fee afterwards - something I was not made aware of ahead of time. Would not recommend!
Avoid... Video app wouldn't work so had to do voice call. The doctor appeared disinterested and charge £18 to prescribe an over the counter treatment. Call lasted 5 minutes and paid nearly £70. The pharmacist at Boots was more helpful!
Incredibly helpful for a tourist (not a UK citizen) who fell very unwell unexpectedly. Had waited 8 hours with the NHS, to be given incorrect amount of antibiotics. No GP or pharmacy would register an international patient. The GP service provided us the help we needed and the prescription was provided quickly. Thank you, would recommend for anyone travelling the UK.
engaged with this company for advice from a medical and paid £49 (they took £67which i have since reclaimed). The medic who was offered me for medical advice was Not a member of the GMC despite his profile. If I had not reviewed this site (after the failed consultation), clearly i would have received advice from a medic who was falsely claiming they where a registered doctor. This implies that this company is fraudulent amd is a significant risk to others.
Cost of apt was £60, for this an Inaccurate prescription issued by the doctor, I was fortunate that Boots pharmacist picked up the error and corrected. I wouldn’t use this service again, when reported they offered 50% off next service but gave me 30 days to use that voucher - a complete joke of a company and frankly dangerous.
Excellent. Started to feel unwell and needed to see Dr before going on holiday. Couldn't get GP appointment in time. I was 'seen' within 30mins of signing up. Just picked up a prescription. Very impressed with the Dr Victoria White.
A fantastic and hassle free service. Got to see a GP straightaway, a thorough consultation, and prescription sent to my nominated Pharmacy which was out of hours, within 30 minutes! The admin. team were great too, as I initially had a problem logging-in to the patient service app, but quickly resolved. Overall, I would highly recommend GP Service to anyone who is in need of urgent medical advice, out of hours. Thank you guys, really appreciated :-)
I have used this service a few times, most recently today. Despite being remote, the GPs have been unfailingly professional, caring and thorough. I felt they asked a great many questions to understand my condition, then really thought about the best solution for me. They were polite and cared about whether I was happy with their recommended action, they made it easy for me to get the prescription and medication I needed. At a time when it is increasingly hard to see a GP or access any care outside of an emergency (and even then, not easy) this feels like a much-needed service.
Just had a great appt with Dr Manu, was seen really quickly and got the antibiotics I needed for my chest infection. Brilliant service for those that can’t waste time waiting for their own GP. There is a £7.49 prescription charge which people need to understand, this is a semi private service so there are naturally costs.
