   I normally use a cat sitter but there have been occasions when she hasn't been available. I have used a couple of catteries and one was very good, a couple truly awful and then Oaks Cattery which is simply lovely. First off the cattery is small; this is good. I think there are only nine pens. This means more time to spend on the cats, and it is a peaceful place. Some catteries are so large, with so many cats, it is a cacophony of noise which can be stressful for a cat. The attention to care and cleanliness is second to none here and I was so pleased to see that all the pens were large, immaculate, well maintained and very, very clean. As a result, my cat came home unstressed and well looked after. And he didn't smell bad. The attention to detail such as removing cat collars so they don't get caught in the cage, is what makes Oaks cattery a cut above the best. Reuben, the owner, is particular about certain things but this means the cattery is run well and everything he does benefits the wellbeing of the cats. I feel less guilty leaving my cat here than other places and it is good to know my cat is in a safe pair of hands.

   Felt very reassured and comfortable with all our contact with Oaks Cattery. Thoroughly deserves all the good reviews and we will recommend to friends with no hesitation. Our cat is settling back at home with no issues.

   I can highly recommend this cattery. Reuben was professional and friendly and took really good care of my cat. He also sent some photos and updates whilst we were away which were great to see. The setting of the cattery is lovely and the cats are really well looked after here. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

   Recently pick up my cat Tony from his first ever stay at a cattery. He looked happy and healthy and settled back at home very quickly. Big thanks for Reuben for keeping me updated and sending pics on request. Will definitely use Oaks Cattery again in future.

   Reuben is amazing - our return flights got cancelled, but fortunately Oaks Cattery could extend my cat’s stay. Knowing she would be so well looked after was a complete weight off my shoulders. After almost 7 weeks (which is the longest she’s ever been away from us), Reuben dropped her off today and you can tell she is completely relaxed and pampered. Thank you Oaks Cattery for taking such good care of my child and the fantastic service!!

   Second time writing a review for Oaks Cattery.... I could not be happier or more grateful for Vicky and Oaks Cattery. She is such a lovely person and I feel so confident and calm leaving my cat, Coco with her. Of course I worry as Coco is timid and spoilt rotten but I know she will be ok at Oaks. I was unable to use Oaks Cattery the last time I went away as they were full and so I had to put Coco in a different cattery. I came home to a distraught and disheveled cat and it was awful, so upsetting. Luckily this week, Oaks had space! I was so relieved that I could leave Coco with Oaks Cattery and as the times before, I collected Coco and she is happy, groomed well and the picture of health! Thanks Vicky, I really appreciate you looking after my cat so well :)

   My cats love staying at Oaks Cattery. They always come home happy. The owners are friendly and treat the cats as they would their own. Communication is good and we received messages to say how they were. The cattery is clean and well looked maintained. I will definitely use them again
