   We had recently moved to the area when we were looking for a suitable cattery for our cat whilst away on holiday. Paul and his team really do go above and beyond and I cannot thank them enough for taking good care of our boy Oreo. The booking process was quick and easy and Paul is always quick to respond to enquiries. They also have a matrix on their website outlining availability on specific dates which is super useful. The booking form is easy to fill out and their interest in seeing vaccination records and microchip numbers reassured me that they are professional and follow legal requirements. There is plenty of space to give details of any specific needs, such as medication, dietry requirements, favourite toys/blankets etc. This demonstrates from the get go that they really do care about the cats they are looking after. The timings for drop off and pick up are very flexible which is great if you need to account for traffic, or if you’re choosing to drop off after work in the evening. If you are unable to make your own way there, Paul and his team do offer an option to collect from your home address for an additional fee. This is a fantastic feature especially being close to central London where many people do not own cars. When we dropped off Oreo, Paul gave us the option to settle him in ourselves or simply drop off and go. Being the big softies we are, we chose to settle him in ourselves. Paul explained to us what a typical day looks like and made sure to double check the details he had on file were correct. Since it was our first time, Paul offered to send us a video of how Oreo was getting on. This reassured us he was in good hands. However, the team do not send regular updates unless requested but this isn’t a bad thing - it means all the attention is focussed on caring for the cats! The cattery overall is very clean, well organised and easy to get to. There is parking available and this is clearly listed on their website. The pens are very spacious and are equipped with a litter trays, a scratching post, a heater at the top and shelves for the cats to jump up on. These can be removed upon request for older cats who are less mobile. The run is very spacious too and they have toys for the cats to play with if you don’t want to bring your own. Oreo had recently lost his brother not long before he went to Purley Cattery so naturally we were worried about how he would be. But he had a great experience there and settled so well thanks to Paul and his team giving him lots of love and attention. I really cannot thank them enough and would recommend this cattery to anyone who is looking for somewhere for your feline friends to go whilst you’re away. Five starts all around!

   I would highly recommend Purley cattery. My cat Zac stayed here for 2 days. The staff are all amazing and you can see that they genuinely love cats. We received such a warm welcome and felt very comfortable for Zac to board here. We will definitely book again.

   My girl Aura stayed at Purley Cattery for a week. My Dad dropped her off for me and he was very happy with the cattery and felt that Aura was in great hands. I picked her up on my return and she settled in back home immediately. A big thank you to Paul & the team, they are lovely people and I will certainly use Purley Cattery again when I go away next. Thank you for looking after my girl so well! :)

   Bubbles and Laylah had another enjoyable holiday at Purley Cattery. We were able to go away and not worry about them.    First time we used Purley cats after using another cattery for many years. We were very impressed with Paul and the cattery team along with the cattery itself very clean and good sized pens. We booked our cat in immediately and we were not disappointed he came back very relaxed well fed and you could see he had been well cared for.    We've been coming here since 1997. We would not consider going anywhere else! We know that our cat will be safe, secure and very well cared for and in fabulous surroundings. Paul, Tamara and the team are great and nothing is too much trouble for them. We've even got a booking reserved for our cat's holiday in September 2023.

   This was my little beast, Merrick’s, first stay at a cattery and it couldn’t have gone better. Paul and co took amazing care of him, adapting to his little quirk of sitting in his carrier for a couple of days at the beginning and let me know how he was doing. Merrick came out the other end a very happy cat and during his stay he has certainly found his voice, he went from a cat who barely made a noise to one who is currently wandering around the house voicing his opinion on everything. Thank you again to everyone at Purley Cattery for taking care of him. You guys will definitely be my first stop next time I go away.
