Really pleased that we got Lola along to Pawtopia Doggy Day Care. She can’t wait to get on the dog bus that picks her up to attend every Friday. It is really well run by Luka and the team.The facilities are excellent and well thought out. Her obedience levels are much improved. She has just stayed at the Dog hotel for the last few days which allowed us a trip abroad without having to scrape around between family and friends. We were kept up to date with pictures that kept our minds at rest that she was being looked after and happy.
Buddy joined the gang a few weeks ago at just over 3 months old, and the team have taken great care of him since. The surroundings are large with various areas to keep the dogs entertained and exercised. When the doggy bus arrives his tail wags which is great sign that he associates it as a fun happy place. Being with the other dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds has also enabled him to be calmer around dogs when out walking. He comes home shattered but very happy. The videos and photos throughout the day are a great glimpse into his antics too. We are very happy we found Pawtopia and would thoroughly recommend.
Dexter has been going to Pawtopia twice a week for the last few weeks. He’s always happy going in & all the other dogs look happy & content too. He comes home content and very tired from playing all day. The facilities are well thought out and kept in great condition. I love that Luka arranges a meet and greet before accepting your dog - it shows he wants to get the right fit for his Pawtopia gang. Happy Doggies = Happy Owners
Maggie May has been going to Pawtopia doggy day care for a number of years. She was a rescue and we were both a bit anxious at the outset. With support and guidance from Luka and his team, Maggie has become a very happy and confident dog. She comes home pleasantly tired and content..and I'm a very pleased mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Pawtopia both for Day Care and Boarding.
Our cockapoo Mabelle has been going here for about 18 months and we couldn’t be happier with the care and service provided. We love the little videos we are sent each visit showing snippets of her day. Luca is very accommodating and if you need an extra session it’s not too much trouble to arrange. Not only is our dog happy there you can see the other dogs are too when you drop off or collect. Highly recommend if you looking for doggy day care excellent service and a good price.
Unfortunately my experience wasn’t great here. I know that people that have written negative reviews have received arguments from the business owner, which I think says a lot in itself, however after speaking to someone who had a similar experience I wanted to be honest about my own experience with my dog at Pawtopia. I think this daycare is great for dogs who are easy from the get go or generally require little looking after to be in a large group setting but if your dog requires settling in time and individual care or takes a day or two to get comfortable in new surroundings then this may not be the right place for them and there are other locations in the area that offer to work on each dog’s individual needs in a more personal way. I personally received a call after less than 1 hour to say my dog was crying on arriving on his first day and they wouldn’t have him anymore. So, not a criticism, but I think the suitability of this daycare totally depends on what type of dog you have.
We have been using Pawtopia since our Basset Hound was a puppy. He still goes at least once a week and we can tell by how tired he is when he comes home how much he has enjoyed himself! Luka and the team are extremely attentive and treat all the dogs as if they are their own. I would not hesitate to recommend Pawtopia.
I'm so pleased to have secured a place here for my schnoodle. He is a velcro dog so I was worried that he would not like being away for the day. No need to worry! He loves it and drags the staff member off to her dog bus when she comes to collect him. Pawtopia is extremely well organised and a safe place for my dog to play and be looked after. They do an excellent job and I would highly recommend them, just as they were recommended to me.
