It's ok... lack of large boxes of kitten / junior food may have just run out but not great selection of kitten food little bit over priced compared to other pet shops
Staff instore are amazing, no complaints. Issue is with online customer service. Rated 1 out of 5 stars Disgusting customer service. I have shopped at pets at home for yrs, but only recently subscribed for repeat orders. Over the last 3 months my boxes of wet adult dog food have arrived open, with each carton covered in mould. This last time was the worst. Out of 4 boxes of 24, 26 were open & mould dripping down the side. I was told it was only 6 so given a refund of £4.51, because I did not have every item lined up for pictures, which I wouldn't have as opened different days. I have severe health issues so cannot risk having lots of mouldy covered dog food out, due to being severely medically vulnerable, therefore would be a major health risk to me. I should be able to open any box & any carton when I want to, without worrying about poisoning dogs, or ending up in hospital myself through exposure. I have obviously cancelled my subscription & will be shopping elsewhere from now on. I odvise everyone to avoid their subscription service completely. They deliver disgusting mouldy Harringtons wet dog food. Tney do not respect or value repeat customers at all.

Honestly cannot believe the staff that work here. I sent my wife to go get a air pump for our fish tank and the accessories for it. (Im currently away). She asked a member of staff for help and they told her she just needed the air pump with no piping or air stones, just to put thr air pump ITSELF IN THE TANK! Just to make this clear! THEY TOLD HER TO PUT AN ELECTRICAL ITEM IN WATER! I get not everyone might not know certain things but if your not sure then ask another memeber of staff. Lucky my wife asked me before doing this and read the instructions which states do not put in water. Think this store needs to properly train its staff to give people the right imformation. This isnt the only problem we have had with this store over the past couple of months. Can be from very rude staff too not knowing how to handle thr live stock they sell so in the end i had to pick it up because said animal was starting to become stressed out. To now this. If your wanting to buy a mini animal friend or want help with a product i would hightly recommend you go to another pets at home or another store. Would highly recommend Newport pets at home. They are great with advise and very friendly. But would absolutely stay away from this store!
I will only try and go there when the main man Dan is there. I think that’s his name. He is so knowledgeable and no so much about food and treats for.
Stuff for your animals. All or most of your animalistic needs can be met here. Chains, collars, chew toys... High rise fluffy condos for the kitties and furry warm dog ovals.
The staff in this price r amazing especially the guy with short red hair. Always happy always smiling
Usually great shops but got frog marched out of the shop at 2 minutes to 4 Sunday 08/01/23 by a chubby ginger fella with a eyebrow piercing shouting orders that the shop is closing. managed to get most things I needed, with most stores lately money in the till is more important than getting out 1 minute early sadly.
One of the better branches in my opinion. The carpark is big enough for its size and free. The ship is adequately stocked and the staff are helpful and pleasant. The shop isn’t massive, so they do t have the same range as some of the bigger stores, but they’ve normally had what we want.
