I’d like to personally thank the lady behind the till for her kindness, unfortunately I didn’t catch her name as I couldn’t see through my tears but her actions were greatly appreciated . Recently I had to give my two rabbits up for re-homing, the process was straight forward and easy. And I couldn’t recommend the staff highly enough.
Unfortunately our puppy is allergic to chicken, so today we returned the food we bought and the store took it back without any problems. I would like to mention that there is a young lady working in this store, Robyn. Today was the third time we have paid with her. She is very helpful! Thank you for your kindness!
Staff need to check their flea and worm treatments boxes. I purchased a box of 6 flea tablets last Saturday for around £10 from BEHIND the counter (following my INDOOR pedigree cats picking up fleas from their day visit for surgery). used two on the day for two cats, went to use two more today (fleas have 7 day cycle) and only 1 left. The blister pack had 6 air pockets but only 3 had tablets the other 3 were empty.
Had to have my baby put down today worst day ever. Told he had cancer and was no treatment as was too far peogressed. Pics are of the day just before. Will always be loved an never forgotten Daddys boy forever. Looked soo sad, but he knew it was almost over No more pain, be happy up there where ever you are, daddy will find you again 1 day i promise. We loved this smaller store. It's the first store we have found with shelves so high off the floor, it's great for those who like to check for dropped biscuits underneath and boy were we in luck today. Having helped clean up we ommitted the cheaper little treats at the till, but hey they give us funny tummies anyway. The parking spaces by the hedge were plenty big enough for a small campervan too.
A sad experience as we had to have our second dog (in 6 months) put to sleep. All credit and thanks to the staff who were very caring, understanding and supportive.
NEVER BUY AQUATIC FISH AT THIS SHOP!! New tank.watet check done by pets at home. 8 fish purchased, one died within 2 hrs of purchase. Over the week, all fish are dead. The shop should have thiet licence to sell animals and fish revoked. Disgraceful and Shameful.
Registered my dog here recently after a bad time at my previous vets and they are amazing. So caring towards animals and the communication whilst waiting for results is incredible had none of this before with my old vets . Every single member of staff has gone above and beyond to help my dog and me especially with sorting out insurance details for me aswell nothing was a problem. Big thank you I am incredibly grateful and would highly recommend this vets. Harriet was so good with my dog and Sarah with the insurance plus the receptionists unfortunately didn’t catch their names but they deserve the recognition. A huge thank you !
What a place, called pets at home, more like pets at industrial estate. Got the dog food we needed so poochie gets fed. No dogs for sale so couldn't get another, that was the 70s. Still, there are rabbits and other rabbit like creatures for sale if you want them or believe they should be sold in this fashion, I don't. But shop provides well for most creature well being.
Great time with grandchildren celebrating a birthday. Staff very friendly
