Took my puppy here for her first ever groom. Kate and Michaela were extremely knowledgeable and caring! I don’t think I will ever go anywhere else! They went above and beyond for my pup and she was so calm and happy to be in their company! Thank you both! :)
I once had a very nervous doggie that hated going to his groomer. Having found Kate and Michalea i now have a doggie that loves his visits and playtimes and has made a firm friend with Albi one of the resident pooches. Would 100% recommend.
It’s lovely to visit Kate and Mic in their cosy new premises. They’ve been grooming our dogs for 7 or 8 years. They were amazing with Bailey right up until she left us at almost 14. She was quite a timid little dog but Kate and Michaela were able to make her feel safe and comfortable so that she would go into be groomed quite cheerfully. Now we have Betsi and they’ve been grooming her since her first puppy groom and getting her used to the dryer and clippers. They are so kind and gentle, real dog lovers and very good dog groomers too!
Couldn’t find a more helpful and excellent groomer if I tried!! The girls are so kind and caring with the dogs, we have two and they love their pampering. Thank you for your care.
Contacted the groomer for an appointment, however, they would not provide one due to my dog not visiting them previously and being 13yo. They assumed that, due to his age, he would find a new groomer too stressful, despite asking no questions around his temperament and just assumed. Had they done so, they would have discovered he's a really compliant, well-trained, confident and outgoing dog and should be able to look his best, despite being in his later years. If they can't get the basics right, I wouldn't have any confidence to leave him with them and would look for an appointment with more experienced groomers. NB : in respect of their response - I explained he'd been hand stripped up to Covid, however, he hasn't since. They also didn't mention their insurance. It appears their listening skills aren't great either.
I was so happy to find this little establishment the girls are very welcoming and so professional at their job super great with my little Nia who was a rescue!! The time and patience is second to none she was a very nervous little dog when we adopted her but the girls helped immensely!! Thank you girls I truly recommend K8s very professional Karen
