Not long moved to the area and been using a launderette elsewhere. I visited Klean4you today and it was everything a lot of launderettes are lacking. The lady there works so hard but has time for everyone coming in to use the machines or for dry cleaning - she was just lovely and really helpful. The place is clean, the machines are clean, the dryers actually dry your clothes, and there's parking. This is my new launderette!

I just picked up a Marc Jacob dress that they totally destroyed. Its a £200 dress that has been dry cleaned several times over the years with no problems.
The owner said they were worried about the dress, but never bothered to call me to give me the option to take it to another place. When I got upset and raised my voice a little, he then proceeded to tell me he was going to charge me for the dress as I was raising my voice. Well of course I was raising my voice, he had totally destroyed a £200 dress. What was I supposed to do, thank him?
They didnt offer to pay for the damage, he just kept saying " that it was a manufacturing defect and that I should call the store I bought it from. When I tried to explain to him that I bought the dress in 2012 and the store wouldnt recall the dress. He said they had had problems before and had damaged other dresses where the customer called the manufacturer. He then said his mum had doubts about the dress, but forgot to mention it to me.
I can't believe this level of bad customer service why didnt they call me? And then he wouldnt give me the rest of my clothes unless I paid for the dress he damaged because I raised my voice and said I wouldnt come back there. They dont even deserve the one star I gave them.Unbelievable...
