I left my dog Henry with Jan and Matt in October, for 2 weeks, This was the first time we have left him. They updated me on how Henry was doing and sent lots of photo's. Henry looked like he was having a lovey time and was relaxed. I will differently be leaving him with Jan and Matt again.
My doberman Thor (18 months) has been walking with Jan and Matt everyday (except lock down of course) since late last year and honestly they have been the best thing to happen to us. Thor absolutely adores them and nothing is to much trouble, he gets the very most out of his walks and always comes home well exercised and very happy. They have got him happily socialising with other dogs, have helped fix his recall issue and generally improved his behaviour all round. Very happy with them, we wont be going anywhere.
We couldn’t recommend Ruffles highly enough. Matt came to the rescue at very short notice due to a change of plans, to look after our 10 month old puppy and she had the most wonderful time staying here. Matt sent us photos and updates whilst we were away and we knew she was in fantastic hands. They take care of all the dogs as if they were their own, and every time Luna sees Matt and Jan she gets so excited, showing us how comfortable she is with them and how much fun she’s had. We will certainly always use Ruffles for home boarding in the future.
Matt has been brilliant for our Tez! Ruffles has had our puppy regularly for the last 4 months and it has been amazing for his socialisation. Matts house is perfect for dogs with a safe garden and we received photos of our pup every time Matt had him for the day. Would always go back to Ruffles when dog sitting was required.
Our very lively, strong and intelligent 2 & a half year old black Labrador Ace stayed with Matt for a week in August for the first time. Matt is a very kind and calm person with a lovely home in a fabulous location. On our meet and greet visit, Ace immediately took to Matt and I could see that he would be very well looked after. His love for dogs is very evident and I was confident that he would care for my boy like his own. Matt sent us regular updates and fantastic photos of their walks and play at home with lots of reassurance that Ace had settled in well. When we picked him up Acecwas very happy, confident and looked well fed and content. We immediately re- booked with Matt to look after Ace for our next trip and would 100% recommend Ruffles. Matt is amazing! He clearly loves dogs! He took our energetic young beagle in at late notice and treated him as his own! He knew so much about beagles already and he didn’t mind having Oscar! Matt sent us pictures and videos regularly so while we were away on holiday, we had a peace of mind that our dog was in very good hands. I would recommend Ruffles without any hesitation at all!
