Would like to thank The Lodge vets for the lovely sympathy cards we received after we had to have our beautiful girl sent over the rainbow bridge,and for their kindness to her.
I came across a small badger today on the grass by the farm on coleshill road B46, unable to move and clearly in pain & distressed, I spoke to a vet stood out side the lodge vets in Coleshill & this vet couldn't give a damn, was rude, arrogant and walked off as I was explaining where the poor little thing was, this is a vet ??? No a vet that clearly saw there was no money in it for him with 0 compassion to help. I would never take my dog there or ever recommend. This was a defensless Wild animal that needed help, luckily after trying hours to get someone to help I came across luckys wildlife rescue on chelmsley wood, Keiran there thankfully had the badger collected immediately to be taken to be looked after & cared for, it's a non profitable charity. So there is kindness in the world but not from the lodge vets in Coleshill, you should be ashamed of yourself , 0 stars had to put one to get a review ?
Always found this practice efficient and helpful for advice on the health care of our two cats. Had to attend again recently with minor concerns about one of our cats. We got a rapid appointment, apparently they have extended their opening hours. Got a thorough and expert assessment and reassurance. Very pleased
Our cat Lucy had become very ill She has always been looked after by the lodge vets. They treated her for repeated tummy problems over the last couple of years but the time had come to put her to sleep.They couln't have been kinder to Lucy and us. She passed away very peacefully. Well done to the veterinary team.They are a credit to the practice. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff. Excellent communication. All things went smoothly. Cat was spayed an chipped. Had a 10 day check after operation an has now been given the all clear. Definitely would Recommend The Lodge Veterinary
They give 100 % at every visit . During this unpredictable time with the covid virus we still get all the help and care our animals need , no one is turned away due to lack of valuable appointments one of the surgerys is always willing to treat your animals needs.
This is the only vet I truly trust. I can't understand the reviews where people say they are only after money because in all the years I and also my mother, have visited this vet we have always received the best advice and treatment and they have often chose the cheapest option and what was best for my animal. Without going into to much information a dog, I had years ago, had issues and they advised us of the cheapest option which would benefit my dog. Recently I had to take my other dog to an emergency vet, who wanted to take my dog in, there and then, and perform lots of tests and an operation. I stated I would prefer my own vet to check her. I took her to the lodge where Catherine knew exactly what was wrong with my dog and gave the best advice which was most beneficial to her and she is recovering well. If we went with the emergency vet we may have lost her as they wanted to do a longer, more expensive, unnecessary procedure and as she is 15, may not have survived a long operation but would have still had to pay. So many times they have gone above and beyond. One of the staff even offered to drop my mom's pet home after treatment, during the lockdown so she did not have to pay more money for an animal taxi. Absolutely brilliant service and caring people.
