   I visited this store today to take some clothing donations, after checking a couple of days before that they were accepting donations. On arrival at the store, the signage outside indicated that they were not accepting donations. I went inside the store to check the position,. All the staff were in a group chatting and had not interest in speaking to me. I asked if I could bring in donations and they refused. I explained that I was in the process of moving house and had a car full of stuff to donate. One of the assistants abruptly told me that they wouldn’t be prepared to accept a car full anyway. I said that I might as well dump the the goods, and as I left the store, one of the assistants shouted at me “that’s not nice”. I found the whole experience very upsetting, particularly as I’m having a the stressful time clearing out my house. I was made to feel that the store was doing me a favour by accepting my lovely used clothing. Staff in this store need some training. They need to appreciate that without kind donors like myself, they would have no store and no finance for a vital charity.

   Tried to donate but was told by extremely rude staff that they aren't taking any donations (again). Becoming a bit of a joke really. Won't be trying again

   Visited today, taking boxes of cds ,dvd,books and jigsaws . We had 12 boxes of quality goods but we were only allowed to leave 4 boxes. Very disappointed , excuse was to give others a chance to donate. In future will take goods where they are wanted.

   Ridiculous! Having decided to upgrade our sofas we wanted to give them a second home which they were worthy of, but also support the Sue Ryder charity. We sent photos to the shop and arranged a collection. However, the problems then began! The collection was arranged with 'Boxmove' who rearranged our weekend collection to a weekday. This was posed a problem but we made the arrangements for someone to be there as we still wanted to support the charity. As they came they 'rejected' our sofa as it had a small tear at the seam at the back (easily stitched if necessary). The response was "the charity is very particular". Now, I fully understand that anything donated needs to be in the best condition, but without that small tear there wasn't anything else wrong! We would not have donated it otherwise! My disappointment then continued as I emailed the store, with no response for several days until we visited to complain! The response was that our sofa must not have been in a saleable condition! What a disgusting response as we have seen the furniture being sold with tears and one had three legs instead of four. I am writing this review as I feel my response from the store was utterly disappointing and I want to get my point across!

   Shopped here after visiting other shops on retail park. Beware parking time limited. We were there just over 2hrs and fined £60. No fault of shop, but has discouraged me from going again.
