   Having being told that my place of work was closing, I was unsure what to do. At 61, what do I do? Do I have to carry on working? Having various pension pots, what do I do? I was recommended MDM by a former work colleague who had been in the same position as me and told me that he was very pleased with them. All of my options were explained to me in a very friendly, professional manner, and more importantly, in terms that I understood, and if there was anything that I didn't fully understand, just to ask.    I was thinking of retiring but was not sure if it was viable. Over a lifetime of working I had accumulated a number of final salary & personal pensions. MDM listened to our goals and aspirations and completed a review of my pensions. Having completed this assessment they recommended that I was in a position to retire if I wanted to. They handled the consolidation of my pensions making it simple and and easily understandable. I retired in October 2020 and MDM have maintained regular contact to ensure that the plans remain up to date. I have been really pleased with the professional and inclusive service they have provided. So pleased they are now starting the same process with my wife's retirement planning.

   I have been working with the Directors of MDM Wealth for some 5 years now. Initially they helped to consolidate a number of Pension Funds I had, in various schemes, into one investment vehicle. What I liked about this process was that where it was better to leave a Pension Scheme in place with the current company they advised I did that, everything was very transparent and decisions based on fact. They have also educated me in the ways that pensions, lump sums and drawn down all work. I am now far more equipped to build my own forecast tools so I can personally keep track of my position and therefore the responsibility of where I am at rests with me, as it should. Currently I am engaging on an annual basis with MDM Wealth so we can do a Health Check of where I am going together. They use the power of technology to model funds and prediction, factoring in all sorts of event, the current Covid19 issues being a good example, showing me where I am tracking. MDM Wealth work with me in a partnership which I find very reassuring. I take personal responsibility for my Pension Position however we all need the expert to guide us and MDM Wealth do exactly that. I have no hesitation in recommending that you talk to MDM Wealth if you are looking for a Pensions Investment Partner.
