Great local CO-OP store with a great range of goods, deals and wine. Staff are friendly, polite and very helpful. Pity about the awful, tricky car park which seems to be a thing with CO-OP stores. Please stop all the parents using it as a school drop off/pick up zone causing havoc and displacement for customers parking. It's selfish, lazy, unnecessary and dangerous.

Very rude, usually brilliant over 4 hours late so I rang up to ask what was going on and they said to wait for a driver. I then waited and rang up again to be met with a woman with a attitude saying I was a liar and I said I was coming to pick it up. Unbelievable my mum spent nearly 60 quid and never got it....

Staff are so helpful. Although parcel deliveries are taking up too much of their time. They need more staff. My only problem with that shop is how cold it is. Its too cold to bare

This new Co-op has been going for a while now and it’s head and shoulders above the old one. It’s now everything you need for the “little and often” shoppers that form the customer base and the investment in the new premises was well worth it. The manager has his finger on the pulse and is very active on local social media groups. His staff are also a credit to him. On one of my visits, one of the young shop assistants was having a good old chin wag with an elderly customer which was very heartwarming giving the isolation we’re all experiencing. All-in-all, it’s a great place to shop!

It has most of what you need but lets itself down with 1) the surly/unhelpful attitude of one or two of the young female till operators and 2) the permanently understocked bakery.

The fairly new village co-op is a lot more modern and spacious, there is a wider selection on most products. The fresh bakery section is a bonus but most stuff have run out of stock by 2pm. Majority of the staff have continued to give a personal touch to your shopping experience and remain friendly and helpful even when they are really busy. I have noticed though that some of the newer staff that have been recruited since the new shop opened don’t pack your shopping in bags for you like the longer serving staff nor do they ask if you have a membership card to swipe. The frozen section is a massive disappointment - unless you want frozen pizza, peas, chips or ice-creams then it’s a waste of time. There is no mobile phone signal whatsoever inside the shop which can be a pain if you need to ring home to say they don’t have a particular product and want to know which alternative to get because you have to abandon your basket of shopping and go outside - SORT IT OUT!! Feel sorry for the staff as the shop is always so freezing cold. Car park is a better layout and larger.

A bit cluttered and staff seem to spend quite a lot of the time hidden out back somewhere, leaving only one till operational. Food quality and prices are reasonable for a small convenience store.
