   Arrived on time to be greeted with with a member of staff who clearly didn’t want to be there. Our table was for 6 adults, and despite the whole pub being quiet we were sat in the kids zone on a table really designed for 5 and with 2 tables near us that had not been cleared. These tables were not cleared until nearly at the end of our reservation. On attempting to order our drinks & food we were met with a completely empty bar! Having paced up and down both ends of the bar so to cover where the doors to the kitchen were, there was nobody to be seen. During all this time there was a Man sat at a table in Full View of the bar, who, as it turned out was actually working at your pub, who did never attempted to serve, or find a member of staff who could. Eventually we were served and then went to Browse the menu. Not very long after we had sat down we were told, more or less to hurry up & order as the kitchen closed soon. At no time were we told any food was unavailable until we went to order. You had no steaks at all, which half of our party wanted, and then there was no sauce for the katsui chicken, Which was ordered as an alternative to steak. To say we were disappointed & disgusted with, not Only with the food situation, but with the whole way we were treated by your staff the whole time we were there, like we were doing you a favour, is a total understatement. You really need to address your front of house if you want to attract repeat business, or any business. I can assure you I will not be revisiting any time soon & Certainly not recommending you to Anybody I know, or anybody in general in fact. Your comments would be appreciated and expected.

   Just wanted to pass thanks onto Holly-Mae and her colleague, apologies I didn't get his name. For making a great meal our for our staff. They dealt with the large group of people fantastically and had everything processed and we were very well looked after. Food was also amazing!

   The food was absolutely lovely, came out in good time and hot too. My sister was impressed as well. Me and the family are thinking of coming near Christmas for the festive menu. Very impressed. Great service too.

   Simply awful. I ordered a basic baked potato and prawns with marie rose sauce. The dish was served with an undersized potato, insipid and watery Marie rose sauce and prawns that seemed underdone or greasy. The accompanying salad was so overloaded with garlic dressing that it turned my stomach. Overall, I'm not impressed, I gave up after a few mouthfuls.

   Service was great and the food was lovely. We came for my daughters 6th birthday and the staff were more than happy to bring out the cake we brought for her and even added a couple of extra candles.

   Nice warm welcome. Friendly bar staff. Our table was dirty and uncleared but the bar staff were very quick with getting it ready. Food and drink ordering was quick despite it being quite busy. Food came out quite quickly, it was hot and tasty.

   Called in for lunch for first time and had a good experience. The staff were friendly on entry and the place look very clean and tidy. We ordered some food and drinks and I would like to say the food was good. My husband’s small portion fish and chip he was vary pleased with and I had a combination of two starters which were very nice. I would recommend this pub even though it has no car park but we managed to park nearby. Thanks to Chloe and Mona.
