   We had a party of 7 people. Everybody enjoyed their meal. Plenty of choice. Very reasonable. We used our 40% off mains food discount code. The discount code is valid until 7th December. So we have booked again . We have also booked the Xmas festive meal - 3 courses for £ 24 (not Xmas day).

   We had such a warm, inviting, and nothing is too much trouble welcome! Superb staff! I mean superb, so helpful, friendly and confidently championing there workplace. Treacle was so kind and lovely and the guy who welcomed us, I didn’t catch his name - was amazing! They both made our lunch fun and we felt so valued and cared for! I’ve eaten in some very exclusive restaurants and the staff here are up there with the best in hospitality! The giant Yorkshire Pudding filled roast dinner is enormous! But very very delicious. Trifle cheesecake was rather tasty too!

   We were served by Paula last night and didn't she do such a great job. I mean she was amazing. Very professional and kind. You can just tell that she was amazing when you meet her. The service was very fast. We didn't need to send our food back. Quality of the food was hot and delicious. Can't wait to come back.

   5 star service all around. Friendly and happy staff, dog friendly, even have their own doggy menu . Lots of fuss given to pup. Fantastic customer service. Food lovely . Not often you get somewhere that ticks all the boxes . We found this pub by accident but what a great find . I so wish it was near home . Marston’s, Dan, Damian,Treacle and Matt the head chef and kitchen staff are a credit to you . Keep up the fantastic work all of you . If we visit this part of the country again it will defo be the first port of call for food, drink and fantastic customer service . Thank you

   Our 3rd time here but the first time with our dog, I didn't know it was dog friendly until we rang up and asked but they have a doggy menu, all the staff greeted my dog, there's also a doggy water bowl at the entrance too, coming out of a little barrel which I thought was cute. Anyways I'd definitely recommend going to this restaurant with or without your pooches.

   Jamie and the team at The Water Meadow hosted a fantastic birthday party for our 4 year old boys. They opened especially for us for a couple of hours before general opening so we had the place to ourselves. Nothing was too much trouble for them; they accommodated a bouncy castle for us in the family eating area and ran a pizza making lesson for 14 littles ones, chef hats and aprons included, whilst serving mums and dads coffees from the bar. All the children even got individual pizza making certificates at the end! We can’t praise the excellent organisation, efficiency and effort enough - thank you Jamie and the team for making it such a successful and memorable party for us all.
