Avoid at all costs. I accidentally booked this place on booking.com thinking it was book now pay later. I realised after I had finalised the booking that it was pay now but luckily for me I didn't have enough money on one of my bank cards. I emailed them within literally 2 minutes to inform them that it was a mistake and could they please cancel. Even though I haven't paid them they say the 4 rooms I booked are non refundable. They then continued to try take out copious amounts of money from my bank account ranging from 300 pound to 10 pound but I already had my card frozen as I knew this would happen from the tone I got when dealing with them. They are a bunch of scammers, and extremely rude. Take your business elsewhere and avoid like the plague. A 4 star hotel down the street was cheaper and much more pleasant experience to deal with.

We cancelled our booking at the beginning of the pandemic due to an inability to travel from Australia to England. As per the conditions of our booking we were eligible for a partial refund. After numerous attempts to make contact they finally responded to say they could not process our refund because the office was closed, even though we had just received junk emails telling us they were still open for business. Then they responded to say they have other bills to pay so they would not pay us any refund! Eventually after much arguing they acknowledged a partial refund was due as per the conditions of our booking (only 30% of a $950 pound booking). 3 months later we have not seen a cent.

Very poor customer service. We had booked a room at the beginning of the year so when travel restrictions were later put in place, I contacted the hotel to reschedule my booking to whenever we are allowed to travel again. I didn't request cancelling as I was worried about all the refunds they would be having to give at the time. However, we were then informed by the manager that the 'hotel will still be open' in June and so they would charge the full amount of the room, regardless if we could travel or not. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth that the manager is trying to profit from a pandemic and I appear to only be 1 of many this has happened to. I would 100% avoid this place in future.

We have a booking next week, but due to Covid-19 our flight got cancelled and we are unable to go. When contacting the hotel, they say the penalty for cancellation is the full amount for the reservation, they also don’t give a voucher for future trips. They said we could exchange the stay dates, but they need to be defined right away and that is not possible since I don’t even know when we’ll be able to flight there again. Very poor customer service. I don’t recommend it.

Decent location but you get what you pay for. Rooms are small, hot and poorly designed. Air conditioning didn’t work and the fan that was provided was so loud it was impossible to sleep with it on. One of the beds was just a mattress on the floor. The nearby streets are busy with revellers throughout the night, which when coupled with the lack of ventilation and uncomfortable bed, make for a poor sleep. There are steep hidden charges for room cleaning at £5 a day and £10 for luggage storage. There’s also an apartment cat and as nice as he was, this gave the hallways a very unpleasant smell. The closest underground is Old Street, which is a 10 minute walk and there are lots of good restaurants and pubs nearby.

The loft room we were given for three people barely fits one person comfortably. There was no privacy. It was filthy! There was blood on the back of the bathroom door which I suspect had been there for some time. We were advised check out was earlier than the time displayed on our receipt. We were going to be charged extra per hour to stay till that time. Finally common sense prevailed however the house keeper still knocked early. They were going to charge exorbitant prices to store our luggage. They said the cats roaming inside were to keep the mice away! It’s like a rabbit warren and quite frankly I was happy to leave. I didn’t feel safe and was worried what would happen if there was a fire. I will never stay there again and strongly recommend you stay elsewhere.

I was a bit cautious after booking due to a lot of negative reviews, but took a chance that Millenium was at least a bit better than that. Flew to the UK, and after 5 hours transit we arrived at night as we had called in and announced. When checking in, we were suddenly told that our reservation had been cancelled and that someone else (the couple in front of us) had gotten priority because they paid more ?!?! If that was the case, I would happily paid more to get a bed for the night. The receptionist was very helpful, although there was nothing she could do. We got to talk to the manager on the phone, who was very unprofessional and rude. It was almost like the manager was blaming us for the cancellation!! If I could give ZERO stars, I would. A true disgrace to the hospitality industry and I truly hope they change for the better. Ended up calling every hotel in the area, and the only available hotel was 5 times more expensive. Thanks Millenium, you will never see me again.

Great for a short stay but not enough space for a comfortable extended stay. We arrived and the receptionist informed us that we had been upgraded from a three person room to a "bigger" four bed room. The room was modern and clean but very cramped - even with only three people. We booked online a few months in advance and got a great price, but I still can't help feel the pictures don't fully represent the room. Space aside, we were impressed with the amenities and staff were super friendly.
