Membership transferred to the leisure centre when Places gym closed but the gym is shockingly inadequate. If all you want is a treadmill, it’s ok. If you want to do any form of resistance training/weights then don’t waste your time.

Great spacious sauna and steam room on poolside and very clean changing area. Pool can often feel quite cold, which some people prefer.

I went to the swimming area with my lad and it wasn't really the best place... You got no private showers or I couldn't find them. The changing rooms were small and tiny. I haven't seen any family rooms and the stuff from the swimming area were wearing outside shoes instead of slippers and now it will make me think of the hygiene level or putting that beside. An energy that they need to be quick in action as having to save or help someone quick in the pool... The pool itself it was okay and I had fun with my lad and I would come back here if the stuff would stop wearing outside shoes around the area. I've seen signs of not wearing shoes but not respected by the stuff and that puts me off the most...

Just signed up for Hinckley Leisure centre pass after a great experience at a well kept, clean centre. Could not recommend Thomas on the desk enough for taking the time to explain everything and setting us up today he was absolutely brilliant.

Me and my partner both pay a full membership for gym and swimming, and ideally wanted to go swimming 2 or 3 times a week due to my injuries. Nearly everytime we turn up, it is never open for the public/members. Its disgusting that they take your money and then you can't use the swimming. We check available times and plan a routine then it's all of a sudden got a class on. When can we actually use it apart from ridiculously early in the mornings. Will certainly be cancelling our memberships, taken for mugs. Sort it out Places Leisure!!

Swimming pools are good, nice and clean and the right amount of Chlorine (online some pools where the water is like slime and burns your eyes). Changing rooms are clean and tidy, good showers but sometimes can be a bit too hot especially for kids. Play area is not overly big but still very good and compact over 3 floors so you can grab a drink and see almost all of the play area to keep an eye on the little ones. Also, a cided door so kids don't escape.

Paid Β£5.10 for only 2 lanes available. No drink tap to fill up my water bottle and was told to the only place to fill it was the disabled toilet. Could only get in at 930 which is fine but no one had told me prior that this was the case until a second before I was about to hop in. No flags up to help with the 5 metre mark and when I said there are bo flags they just said yes and nothing else. I am fine with all of these things but not when I'm spending Β£5.10 for limited use of the pool.

Attended the East Midlands Model (kit) show. The hall used was spacious. Simple parking (most appeared pay and display). There's also another pay and display car park a short walk away. There's a (what I'd call) cafe next to the entrance foyer. The (male) toilet that I used (in male changing area) was clean. Though I think they could have had another cubicle and a couple more urinals. There is a park area outside the centre. The leisure centre is a short walk away from the town centre.

It was fairly clean however, the smell from changing rooms or toilets was terrible. I went there for evening family fun with kids aged 2 and 4. Both of them had neoprene long sleeve swimsuit and they were still freezing. After 20 minutes we went under the showers which are a way too hot compare to the water and air temperatures especially in changing rooms. Overall wouldn't be that bad if they could sort out temperatures issue.
