Excellent location, especially with a dog, miles of walkies almost on the doorstep. Dunster beach is a short drive and we met loads of other dogs there. Hosts really friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at Chapel Cottage.
Such a wonderful place to stay . Lovely hosts, thoughtful and attentive. Charming accommodation with a very good standard of comfort, furniture and furnishings . Super clean as well as an eco friendly too! The grounds and gardens are stunning and the pool is absolutely fantastic. Great location for exploring and local enough to all conveniences. Look forward to returning again.
We had a wonderful stay at Ellicombe with our two kids. Beautiful, cozy house near the coast with a large garden to explore, animals to pet and a pool the kids loved. The host was super friendly and gave great local tips and provided crab fishing gear. Loved the fire pit evenings with marshmallows to roast—such a nice touch. Highly recommended for families!
This is our favourite place to stay near Minehead. The accommodation is to a high standard and the owners Leonora and David are brilliant. Access to most of the Manor grounds and paddock is delightful, a fully refurbished swimming pool is also available. Totally recommended for a relaxing peaceful stay if you want to explore the area and dogs are welcome too!
We had the most wonderful stay in stables cottage. The owners were so welcoming. I loved the little touches in the cottage like the 'I'm on holiday' dog tag, treats for the pouch, the gorgeous teas and so much more. We especially liked the gardens and the pool. The pool has just been refurbished and looks stunning. Thank you so much and we hope we can come back soon.
Excellent accommodation and dog friendly. Eco friendly cleaning products and treats for your dogs including their own towels. Would book again in the future.
I always judge a place that says it's Dog friendly on how friendly? I felt my Puggies were very well catered for and they could be left to roam the massive gardens to their hearts content under my supervision of course. The Coach house was just the right size for 2 people and 2 dog's, towels were provided for the wet dog's and there were no rules, most dog friendly accommodation say they are but not really this place was,just treat with respect for the owners and next guests . In a very good location and great parking and a friendly and helpful host. Can't wait to return
The cottage was stunning - immaculately clean with extremely comfy beds and pillows - and lovely personal touches. Dog biscuits and poo bags, milk in the fridge a lovely selection of teas and coffee, and washing up stuff. The setting is just beautiful - a huge garden/grounds with lots of lovely private places to sit and enjoy the incredible scenery - pool looked awesome it was too cold to swim! Lovely long walks for my dog too. The hosts are so friendly and helpful - I could not recommend more - the best self service cottages we have ever stayed in! We will most definitely be back and sending our family and friends too.
