Swimming pool is decent. Changing rooms are fine but would be nice if they had some private showers. Could be cleaner but they get a lot of foot traffic so it’s not bad and there seems enough space.
The facilities are a 6 out of 10 I think but the staff that I have met easily make up for it one of the guys at reception very helpful polite and just a nice guy same goes for the guy at the desk in the gym super helpful realy nice fella
It's no good for a beginner because of lazy people who work here are rude and disinterest give us no help just sat down in his chair felt well out of place as I've been a member of the council gym for an age and I even I felt like a bit self conscious in the gym is all over the place in the building so we are not going to be going back to the gym there I would even drive to bargoed gym instead
Needs a bit of tlc, but the friendly and helpful staff more than make up for the cosmetics. Val on the front desk is always a great pleasure to see.
I take the kids to the pool. The pool does not have any attractions such as slides for children. It is an old fashion swimming pool. There should be more attractions at the pool, such as slides, jacuzzi. Unfortunately there is nothing. It's boring and it's a pity because there would be more customers, especially on rainy days
I love swimming there. Water is just right for me. Changing rooms are good at this time of year, really cold in winter though.
We've been using Caerphilly leisure centre since 2002 to take the kids swimming regularly, to use the gym, the hall for 5-a-side football, squash and badminton. Always had a friendly welcome from the staff and we're still using the place several times a week. Excellent value for the kids with the £10 a month membership to use all the facilities.
A multi pupose sports hall which can cater for badminton, basket ball, five-a-side football, netball, volleyball and a variety of other sporting activities. The sports hall is also available for special events such as concerts, dances, exhibitions, dinners and conferences. It is licensed to accommodate up to 900 people.
