It was a delightful stroll around King Lear’s Lake. The pathway was paved, making it suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs. There was also an ice cream van in the car park, along with a picnic area.

It's a nice place to visit especially duck-fiding. Walking Trail as well.

Can get overly busy and parking is taken up very quickly. The pay machines only only you to pay for a minimum of 2 hours, which can be silly if you get there an hour before closing, meaning instead of paying for 1 hour, you have to pay for 2. Signs for closing times need to be bigger and spread around. I got out just in time and had to wait at the gate for 15mins whilst the guard was walking around, before he came back to open the gate. Why not just leave it open until closing time? Also, I would say the place needs guards/security to walk around and maintain because people are just so rude and disrespectful these days. They don’t clean up after themselves and leave litter everywhere and you always find the younger generation thinking it’s ok to sit on the benches and smoke weed, when you’re walking around it with very young children. They do need to come in and maintain the area as some of the trees over time have tilted onto the paths. Also, if you have a dog, please clean up after it. It doesn’t take long. If it wasn’t for the scenery and the friendliness of the other people walking around it, I would’ve given less stars.

Park is well paved for Push chairs. Parking slot is minimal and overflowing car park was not operating.

Go there to see a horse about a man, lol! Laugh about geese filing across the road! Spot the rats cleaning up after people overfeeding birds sometimes! Wrong photo for a laugh!

When you can get there early it's a wonderful place full of wildlife, nice place for a cycle ride before the crowds arrive!
